Now Egypt demands an apology with US blessings

Israel strives to avert Egyptian ambassador’s recall. US in mediation bid

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report August 20, 2011, 6:05 PM

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak held intensive consultations Saturday, Aug. 20, on the sudden sharp downturn in relations with Egypt and ways to prevent its government going through with a decision announced earlier to recall its ambassador from Israel.

Netanyahu contacted the White House and Barak, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. They replied that without an immediate Israeli apology to Cairo, there was no point in them interceding with Egyptian rulers to reverse their decision. The defense minister thereupon issued a public statement of Israeli regret for the deaths of Egyptian policemen in the course of a terrorist attack on the Israeli-Egyptian border.

He said he had ordered the IDF to investigate the incident and then conduct a joint probe with the Egyptian military...

A Palestinian state would hasten the end of Israel

This statement comes to me from an Indian correspondent of mine who warns against a Palestinian state

There is a parallel here with the PAKISTAN RESOLUTON of 23 March, 1940, passed at LAHORE (then in India, now in Pakistan).

The Muslim delegates declared themselves as the SECOND NATION within India that rejected Secularism and rejected the idea of living in a State with Hindu majority. The “bas*ards” have never any objection, though, in forcing the NON MUSLIMS to live in a Muslim majority State!

Hindu leaders did not KILL the “enemies” then and there. The result?

That Resolution lay unchallenged and its poisonous tree only grew and grew till in the end the MUSLIMS had their way when Britain agreed to PARTITION spineless secular India and give the Muslims their ISLAMIC Pakistan.

Then what happened in Pakistan?

Despite the promises of TOLERANCE towards the Non Muslims, immediately the MASSACRES started across Pakistan and the Non Muslims fled in all...

Hezbollah Official: Destroy Israel After U.S. Leaves Iraq

by Ryan Mauro, Front Page Mag

When an enemy gives insight into his strategic thinking, it pays to listen. A Hezbollah member of Lebanon’s parliament, retired Brigadier-General Walid Sakariya, predicts that Israel will be destroyed by a “Shiite crescent” in a war with hundreds of thousands of deaths. This war, he says, can only commence once two things happen: Iraq is absorbed into Iran’s bloc after a U.S. withdrawal and the Syrian regime is saved.

Sakariya says that Iraq is blocking plans to destroy Israel by acting as a “buffer zone.” Once U.S. forces completely leave, Iraq will fall to the Iranian-Syrian-Hezbollah axis, permitting Iranian forces to march through its territory. A “Shiite crescent” is created, bringing together over 100 million people in a war against Israel, he explains. He recognizes the high cost of such a conflict, and predicts “hundreds of thousands” of “martyrs” and the use of nuclear weapons by Israel. To Sakariya, the prize of...

The truth, as it is vs. how we’d like it to be

Jacobs makes his case without even referring to how the NYT hid the truth regarding Communism and Stalin in the early part of last century and how it hid the horrors of holocaust prior to and during WWI. Ted Belman

By Charles Jacobs, The Jewish Advocate

It’s August, and on the Cape, there’s sun, sand and surf. Before downshifting to the worka day month of September, one wants mentally to coast, letting thoughts flow, unconnected – though shrinks swear that all our thoughts are somehow linked.

I’ve been pondering “The Help,” a captivating summer film based on the book by that name, a story of a young, idealistic white woman in Mississippi of the ’60s who convinces the town’s black maids to tell her their stories of what it’s like serving in racist white households for a book she wants to write.

A key plotline is the racist revulsion the white women have to the idea that the black maids (who hug, kiss and feed their babies)...
