And remember: the Nazis (whose rise inspired the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, which became an arm of German intelligence during World War II) had their factions and internal differences, too. The rightwing Nazis, backed by the industrialists and led by Hitler, even massacred the leftwing Nazis, who made the mistake of taking the "socialist" in "National Socialist" too seriously.
So what? They were all enemies of civilized humanity, deserving of utter destruction and defeat.
Islamism, or rightwing political Islam, is a kind of clerical fascism. From the AQ to the MB, from post-Mubarak Egypt to post-Pahlavi Iran, Islamism must be defeated. There is no alternative; appeasement and engagement (Obama's odious euphemism for a combination of appeasement and attempted alignment) will only make horrible conflicts inevitable--on Islamist terms.
