John Ruskay, UJA-Federation CEO in New York Charged with Receiving Excessive Salary & Perks The JCCWatch.org discovered through IRS annual Form 990′s filings that John Ruskay, the CEO of the UJA-Federation of New York, received an excessive compensation package of over $675,000.00 per year in both 2008 and 2009. The Founder of JCCWatch.org, Richard Allen states: “It is unconscionable at this time of tremendous need by the beneficiaries, that the head of the UJA-Federation received a compensation package of over $675,000.00 per year. John Ruskay, the Chief Executive officer of the UJA-Federation of New York, is not only taking an exorbitant personal compensation package, he has also been charged by JCCWatch.org with using his position to further his personal political ideology.” Allen went on to say “Ruskay is also using the UJA-Federation funds to support organizations with a clear political agenda. This is not surprising since he has a history...
By ISRAEL KASNETT If every demand by the Palestinians is met, does anybody really believe there will be peace? I often receive e-mails from various organizations explaining how it is “not too late” to take action on this or that issue. Recently the question one organization asked was, “Will the United States do the right thing at the United Nations Security Council, this one time?” No problem there – innocent question. But the next question posed was, “Will the US government stand up for basic fairness instead of vetoing yet another UN vote on behalf of Palestinian human rights?” Wait a minute. Palestinian human rights? That’s not at all what the UN vote is about.

Yet Egyptians are likely to remember as one of his gravest sins that, on his watch, state control over the country’s eastern gateway was dangerously eroded and its people’s relationship with central government became marked by deep mistrust and often hostility. In the past week, Egypt has been stung by Israeli criticism that it has lost its grip on the Sinai. This came after suspected Palestinian militants, said by Israel to have slipped into the peninsula from Gaza, carried out deadly attacks against Israeli targets inside the Jewish state’s border with Egypt.
Washington’s $2 billion in annual aid to Egypt will be cut off if Cairo backs out of the peace treaty with Israel, Congresswoman Kay Granger – whose job as chairwoman of the US House appropriations foreign operations subcommittee means she literally writes America’s annual foreign aid bill – told The Jerusalem Post on Monday. “The United States aid to Egypt is predicated on the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, and so the relationship between Egypt and Israel is extremely important,” the eight-term Republican from Texas said in an interview. “As an appropriator I have two concerns: One thing is the continuing relationship between Egypt and Israel, and the other thing of course is what government we will be dealing with in Egypt, and what position the Muslim Brotherhood will play in this government.”
Laura: The world treats the slaughter of Jews with indifference. So Israelis stand alone as they endure this latest rocket barrage, the shootings and other jihad attacks. Not only does Israel have to face constant terrorist assaults, but at the same time it also undergoes verbal and diplomatic abuse at the hands of a vicious and morally degenerate international community which seeks to appease jihadists at Israel’s expense. Sderot, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Beersheba….All major southern Israel cities are now under a heavy rocket offensive from Gaza. There are Jewish dead, babies wounded, schools and synagogues destroyed, entire cities and towns terrorized.
There is only one historical precedent of a modern democracy besieged under rocket attacks. During the afternoon of Sept. 7, 1940, 348 Nazi bombers appeared over London’s skies....UJA–Federation CEO in New York should be fired

Among the charges levelled at Hosni Mubarak, the ousted Egyptian president being tried by his people, there is nothing about his responsibility for the state’s reckless neglect of the Sinai, the strategic peninsula that borders Israel and Gaza.
The Egyptian government hastened to assert that “it is able to protect its borders and comprehensively secure Sinai”, but...US: Aid to Egypt conditional on peace with Israel
