Euro falls against dollar as European finance ministers meet in Poland.

NEW YORK — The euro is falling against the dollar after European finance ministers said they would push back a decision to pay more bailout loans to Greece.

The finance ministers, who met in Wroclaw, Poland, said they would wait until October to decide whether Greece should get its next $11 billion payment from last year’s bailout. Greece needs the payment in order to avoid defaulting on its debt. A default could undermine Europe’s economy and badly hurt banks that hold Greek debt.
