Fact is, ignoring the deadliest-ever attacks on U.S. soil is part of a larger story--namely, a deliberate, systematic effort by the political establishment to "move on" (dot org). Seriously. Liberal mainstream media outlets--watch them this weekend--are working overtime to whitewash the Islamist mega-attacks. NBC and its sister cable news network, MSNBC, are the main offenders, followed by CNN. The liberal coverage of the 10th anniversary of the slaughter of some 3,000 innocent Americans seems designed to disinform viewers, depicting the horrific sneak attack as a kind of "tragedy." Like a monster hurricane or earthquake. Practically banned by the networks: such terms as radical Islam, Islamism, and jihad, and the names of the attackers, incredibly. Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Osama Bin Laden himself, astonishingly--all forbidden by the Left/liberal propaganda machine.
New details emerge about the alleged Al Qaeda plot to attack the United States with vehicular bombs on or around this September 11.
Turkey's hawks.
The phrasing may seem funny at first. But this isn't a joke.
Turkey's Islamist war mongers are a scary flock--powerful predators with a proprietary attitude towards large parts of the planet. And they have the money, arms, and alliances to support their menacing ideology and ambitions.
Foreign Confidential™ analysts believe that an important Turkish regime faction is secretly plotting to confront Israel militarily in order to spark a conflict that will result in the NATO-assisted "liberation of Palestine"--i.e. an international intervention to impose what Islamist Turks regard as a "near-final solution to the Jewish State problem."
Rising, rapidly Islamizing Turkey is a full member of NATO--with the second largest military force in the alliance. Moreover, Turkey, which will soon host a key component in NATO's early warning system, is seen by the Obama administration as a model "Islamic democracy" and a counterweight to nuclear-arming, Islamist Iran, which is openly committed to wiping out Israel. In light of Israel's presumed nuclear deterrent, analysts say, the pro-war faction in Turkey's political establishment envisions a limited conflict with Israel that will result in its withdrawal to pre-June 1967 boundaries (which the late, dovish Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban wisely labeled "the Auschwitz lines") and the creation of a Hamas-led Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. According to the Turkish plan, the new state will initially include the Golan Heights, the disputed West Bank lands, the already "liberated" but blockaded Gaza Strip, and a Gaza-West Bank land corridor.
As the contiguous but oddly configured Palestinian state is bound to be irredentist from its inception, the longterm Turkish plan is for "Palestine" to first look eastward and absorb the Kingdom of Jordan before managing to eventually conquer the remaining portions of the "Zionist-occupied" western bank of the Jordan River--meaning, the eradication of Israel.
The seemingly unthinkable plot may not be all that crazy considering Turkey's close relationship with Hamas, the Islamist terrorist organization that is dedicated to destroying Israel. Foreign Confidential™ analysts expect Hamas to come to Turkey's aid--by firing non-stop barrages of missiles at Israeli cities and towns and launching major terrorist strikes against Israel--should Turkey's pledge to use warships to guard Gaza-bound aid ships lead to a clash with the Israeli Navy. Massive Palestinian rioting and cross-border violence would be engineered, too.
Israeli defensive mesures, reprisals and counterattacks, including Israeli air strikes against Hamas missile launchers, would certainly result in Palestinian civilian casualties ... prompting international calls for another, so-called Responsibility to Protect mission. As shown by the above-described plot, Turkish foreign policy has entered a dangerous--imperialist--phase. The country's Islamist rulers intend to radically alter Turkey's power relationships with other nations. In addition to challenging, defeating--and ultimately destroying--Israel, Turkey's covert foreign policy goals include the creation of a Kurdish puppet state in northern Syria.
So say our expert sources.
They add that Turkey's overall objective is to revive the Ottoman Empire along Islamist lines--a terrifying aim that is actually supported by the Obama administration. Under cover of phony humanitarian (R2P), democracy promotion, and "Muslim world" outreach programs, the administration hopes to ride the neo-Ottomon, Islamist tiger--without being eaten by it--from North Africa to Central Asia.
To ride the Islamist tiger without being eaten by it....
Ten years after the horrific 9/11 blowback, and that's the thinking in the White House. Incredible.
