Human Burnt Offerings, Then and Now
Ancient Druids and their Wicker Man Owned (or “Pwned”) by Militant Muslims
by Bill Levinson
Militant “Islam’s” greatest achievement has been to totally outdo the Druids in offering holocausts (human sacrifices by fire) in tall structures that contain large numbers of victims. Burnt offerings to Moloch are not in the running because an altar was used instead of a tall structure to hold the victims; same for Aztec human sacrifices.
Outrageous: NY Times Op-Ed Defends Sharia Law … in America
By Bruce Bawer, PAJAMAS MEDIA
In recent years the New York Times has published more than its share of slippery apologias for Islam, but the op-ed it ran on September 2 in defense of sharia law was not only slippery but curiously feeble as well. Eliyahu Stern, an assistant professor of religious studies and history at Yale, harshly criticized the attempts currently underway in over a dozen U.S. states to pass legislation prohibiting the introduction in those jurisdictions of sharia courts. “Some of these efforts,” Stern lamented, “would curtail Muslims from settling disputes over dietary laws and marriage through religious arbitration….”
What to say about this? First, let’s be clear that even a sharia court whose authority was strictly confined to dietary and marital questions would be a matter for concern. Take marriage, for example. Under sharia, marriage is a very lopsided affair, rights-wise. A man can divorce his wife at will — all it takes is saying...
“Let’s take these son-of-a-bitches out!” Not on Palin’s watch
She’s just getting started. Damn, is she good.
Sarah Palin’s Facebook Post
In my speech on Saturday in Iowa, I said: “Between bailouts for Wall Street cronies and stimulus projects for union bosses’ security and ‘green energy’ giveaways, took care of his friends. And now they’re on course to raise a billion dollars for his re-election bid so that they can do it all over again.” This was shamefully on display yesterday at President Obama’s taxpayer-funded campaign rally in Detroit. In introducing the President, Teamsters President James Hoffa represented precisely what I was talking about as he declared war on concerned independent Americans and on the freshman members we sent to Congress last November by saying, “Let’s take these son-of-a-bitches out!”
What I say now, I say as a proud former union member and the wife, daughter, and sister of union members. So, as a former card-carrying IBEW sister married to a proud former Laborers,...
Tommy Robinson , the EDL and the British Gov’t
The Gates of Vienna has the full story starting with this statement by the EDL
Tommy Robinson: A Patriot and a Martyr
A martyr is someone who suffers for a cause. And Tommy is most definitely someone who has suffered for his.
He is currently in a cell in Bedford Prison, having broken his bail conditions in order to attend the EDL demonstration in Tower Hamlets. There were many good reasons why we chose to demonstrate in Tower Hamlets, and Tommy simply felt that he could not sit idly by whilst the movement he founded took to the streets to protest against the formation of Britain’s ‘Islamic Republic’ (not our words, but those of a “very senior figure in the Tower Hamlets Labour Party”).
Ever since the EDL was founded we have found ourselves battling against politicians, but we have also sought to maintain a commitment to peaceful protest, respect the role played by the police, and never seek to undermine the law of the land. Tommy’s decision to break his bail...
Ankara’s chosen scapegoat
[After this article was written Turkey suspends all defense ties with Israel but not private trade ties]
Turkey harassed Israeli businessmen in Istanbul in order to gain popularity in the Muslim world generally and Arab world specifically.
Monday morning, Turkey took its anti-Israel campaign to a new level. Beyond downgrading diplomatic relations with Israel; beyond suspending military agreements; beyond threatening naval war; beyond threatening to foment an irredentist insurrection of Israeli Arabs; the Turks decided to terrorize Israeli tourists landing in Istanbul airport.
Forty Israeli passengers, mainly businessmen who had landed in Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines flight from Tel Aviv, were separated from the rest of the flight passengers. Their passports were confiscated.
They were placed in interrogation rooms and stripped down to their underwear. Their carry-on bags were checked. And then they were lined up against a wall, forbidden to sit...
Bibi is standing up to the pressure
What all this tells me is that Bibi tells everyone what they want to hear but he doesn’t commit nor does he lie. He has no duty to tell them what he really wants. Secondly Being “serious about negotiations” means accepting Obama’s terms and giving the PA what it wants. Apparently Bibi doesn’t have the right to insist on his terms and only giving the PA what Israel is prepared to give. The US has no right to demand Israel capitulate because of what the US did in the past. In any contract you negotiate what you give and what you get. But in this case the US gave Israel certain security items without demanding capitulation in negotiations. Afterwards, its too late.
To suggest that Bibi is endangering Israelis is to deny that Bibi is doing what the people want rather than what the US wants. Ted Belman

Jewish leftists undermine Israel by leaking secrets
While US wiretapping is newsworthy but not shocking, I see a different story. An Israeli leftists thinks he knows what’s best for Israel so he leaks documents to another Jewish leftist to expose Israel’s intent to bomb Iran. I see nothing wrong in communicating with President elect Obama prior to his inauguration, But as you will recall Israel ended the Gaza war the day before the inauguration to please Obama. I wish I was a fly on the wall. Ted Belman
Mr. Leibowitz, who declined to comment for this article, released the documents because of concerns about Israel’s aggressive efforts to influence Congress and public opinion, and fears that Israel might strike nuclear facilities in Iran, a move he saw as potentially disastrous, according to Mr. Silverstein.
While the American government routinely eavesdrops on some embassies inside the United States, intelligence collection against allies is always politically delicate, especially one as...
