Egypt and Jordan Likely to Follow Turkey's Example

Foreign Confidential™ analysts predict Egypt and Jordan will soon follow non-Arab Turkey's example and withdraw their ambassadors from Israel. Downgrading of diplomatic relations will eventually lead to complete breaks as the Islamizing nations move to further Israel's isolation ahead of an all-out conflict aimed at eradication of the Jewish State.

Jordan is increasingly pressured by the Muslim Brotherhood, which is in the process of taking over Egypt following the Obama administration-assisted overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak; and Turkey's Islamist regime--hailed as a model "Islamic democracy" by the administration--is competing with its nuclear-arming, Shiite rival, Iran, for leadership of a so-called Arc of Islam that stretches from Libya to Central Asia.

Unlike Iran, of course, Turkey is a full NATO member--and a missile defense puzzle piece.

Staunchly secular Turkey was Israel's ally. Islamizing Turkey is fast becoming Israel's enemy.

As rightwing political Islam tightens its grip on the region, the prospects for peace--the hope that Israel will one day be able to live in peace with all its neighbors--grow dimmer by the day.
