Scotland and all its troubles, re devolution and Transfer of its seas around its Shores. 26.9.2011. Is it the United Kingdom’s Sea? Or, all as listed as ‘united’ in the UN under the 12 mile Limit? To be eventually transferred to the EU for its Motorway in the Sea? This is what it states on the site below: On the 23rd of March 1999 Scotland handed over jurisdiction of 6,000 square miles of North Sea to Westminster. The remarkable thing about this transaction is the fact that it occurred without the knowledge or consent of the people of Scotland. In fact it was a Labour government led by Tony Blair that ordered this bizarre act of treachery towards the people of Scotland and it was a senior Scottish Labour politician, Henry McLeish that sanctioned it. What is even worse is the fact that the whole affair was conducted in secret at committee level denying the House of Commons or the Scottish Parliament an opportunity to properly debate the issue. To their eternal shame Tam Dalyell (Labour), John McAllion (Scottish Labour) and Sir Robert Smith (Scottish Liberal Democrats) sat on this committee and allowed this act of treason to be carried out without authority from the Scottish electorate or the Scottish Parliament. Holyrood's Tory-chaired rural affairs committee - where Labour is in the minority - produced a critical report on the fisheries boundary issue and recommended that Scottish Secretary Dr John Reid should have the controversial decision reversed by Westminster, as demanded by Scotland's fishing fleet. Only the Government in London has the power to change the boundary again. Labour's coalition partners in Scotland, the Liberal Democrats, abandoned the joint party line and voted with the SNP and Tories. By doing so they were adding force to moves in the Commons by Lib Dem MP Archy Kirkwood to have Westminster reinstate the old boundary. Scottish Executive spokesmen have argued since the change that technically there never was a boundary and that the decision to create one was purely for administrative reasons after devolution. The new fisheries boundary no longer bears resemblance to the boundary which delineates Scotland's territory in oil and gas fields as formalised in 1987More on :---http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/aberdeen/msps-call-for-6000-square-miles-of-fishing-waters-to-be-returned-to-scottish-jurisdiction-north-sea-showdown-looms-1.258234 Scotland is a NATION not a Region! (Then they should read this from their Parliament, European Committee,Tuesday Afternoon 22 May 2001 -- Ben Wallace (North-East Scotland) (Con): Manfred Dammeyer talked about constitutional regions. Will he define them? Ben Wallace: We are aware, especially within our regional devolved national Parliament, that we have different political agendas. My colleagues in the Scottish National Party would like to have greater influence above the national level and directly into Europe. As a member of a unionist party, I favour a different method. I was interested to know how constitutional regions fitted in at a national level and Mr Dammeyer has answered my question. Mr Dammeyer: (simultaneous interpretation) We have to respect that Scotland is a nation but, at the European level and in the European discussion, Scotland is like a region. Colin Campbell: In size, but not in spirit. This of course was to allow life Peers only in the Lords-so that Ministers could get any Legislation through the Lords any time they wanted-no matter if it destroyed this, their own Country as long as they fulfilled their life long dream of firstly, a fully federal one State of European Union. Then towards their New World Order? Yet so many young people died for what they thought and were told, was for their own Country’s freedom from foreign rule. Many people, women, children and yes, babies died through the bombing in the last war. Yet their was no thought that it was all for the dream of a New World Order. As I understand it, the change in the Boundaries should also have been debated fully and probably put to a referendum particularly for the Scottish people. This was a TREATY change for The Treaty of Union was indeed a Treaty that had lasted from 1707. Privileges of the Sixteen Peers of Scotland.F1. . . that all Peers of Scotland and their Successors to their Honours and Dignities shall from and after the Union be Peers of Great Britain and have rank and precedency next and immediately after the Peers of the like Orders and Degrees in England at the time of the Union and before all Peers of Great Britain of the like Orders and Degrees who may be created after the Union F2. . . and shall enjoy all privileges of Peers as fully as the Peers of England do now or as they or any other Peers of Great Britain may hereafter enjoy the same . This should have been put before the people in a referendum because it was and is a TREATY change. The Treaty was of course ratified-it states that quite clearly and was “for all time coming” There is a great deal of difference between a Hereditary Peer and a Life Peer. There must be, otherwise, why bother to change them? The Hereditary Peers could present themselves with letters patent and they have every right-unless the Treaty is no longer applicable-to be let in to take their places. If the Treaty has been breached already and particularly because of the recent changes made to the sea line borders, one has to ask whether the Treaty has already been breached? Conclusion:-This paper has shown that the advent of North Sea oil has completely overturned the traditional economic arguments used against Scottish nationalism. An independent Scotland could now expect to have massive surpluses both on its budget and on its balance of payments and with the proper husbanding of resources this situation could last for a very long time into the future.http://www.oilofscotland.org/mccronereport.pdf And this is why Scotland wishes to be independent from the UK. http://www.oilofscotland.org/scottish_politics.html#Scotlands_stolen_sea

Why did the UK Government do this and why was it not debated in the House of Commons? Is it for the same reason I have put in the Title? The United Kingdom’s Sea. All as listed as ‘united’ in the UN under the 12 mile Limit, to be transferred eventually to the EU for its “Motorway in the Sea”? To make sure you realise this is not a fabrication of the truth, here you can access the “Official” Documents. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1999/1126/contents/made
I hope you have had time to look at some of the e-mails I sent to you yesterday.
If you read this article of the 23rd March 1999 as did I, I couldn’t help thinking that the words would suit those that took us in to the EU too. So I will try, by substituting the names etc for other names of our loyal British MP's, you know, the ones we trusted, here is how it reads now.:- Here as a reminder is that first paragraph, “On the 23rd of March 1999 Scotland handed over jurisdiction of 6,000 square miles of North Sea to Westminster. To their eternal shame Tam Dalyell (Labour), John McAllion (Scottish Labour) and Sir Robert Smith (Scottish Liberal Democrats) sat on this committee and allowed this act of treason to be carried out without authority from the Scottish electorate or the Scottish Parliament.”
In the year 1972 the English Government headed by Edward Heath handed over jurisdiction of all the 94,248 square miles of the United Kingdom of Great Britain to the European Economic Community. The remarkable thing about this transaction is the fact that it occurred without the knowledge or consent of all the ordinary people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In fact it was a Conservative Government led by Edward Heath that ordered this bizarre act of treachery towards the people of Britain and it was The Queen of England that signed the papers that sanctioned it. Whether the Queen was told the same as the people, is not known. What is even worse is the fact that the whole affair was conducted with words to calm the people in that "There would be no loss of essential Sovereignty" and deliberately denying the British people to air their thoughts and feelings through a referendum on whether THEY wanted to join or not. Such was the deceit the people were not told the truth at that time. To their eternal shame and recorded in Hansard are the words-nay the lies told by those that were willing to give the governing of their own Country away to foreigners. Recorded also are the names of those that tried to save their Country from such foreign Rule. Those names (around August 1961) were Peter Shore, Mr Turton, Mr (Manny) Shinwell, Mr S Silverman, Mr Gaitskell, Sir Derek Walker-Smith, Mr Woodburn, Mr Blyton, Sir R Grimston, Mr Bellinger-so many, many names and even talk saying ...."we must recognise that for us to sign the Treaty of Rome would be to accept as the ultimate goal, political federation in Europe, including ourselves [Official Report. 12th February, 1959; Vol. 599, c, 1382] -also to harmonise our system of indirect taxation- I hope the Lord Privi Seal will tell us---whether our Health Service could survive financed as it is today.....Under article 169, if a Member State fails to comply with an obligation to alter its code of law, the Commission may refer the matter to the Court, and under Article 171; "If the Court of Justice finds that a Member State has failed to fulfil any of its obligations under the Treaty, such State shall take the measures required for the implementation for the Judgement of the Court" etc, etc.
To their eternal shame, all those in Government at that time, The Honourable, and especially the Right Honourable's were pleased and delighted to sign the Treaty of Rome and gleefully allowed this act of treason to be carried out without authority from any of the people they were supposed to serve. They ratified the Treaty knowing that it was contrary to their own Common Law Constitution and most certainly not in keeping with the Solemn Oaths of Allegiance all make to the British Crown and even before they may take their seats in that House of Commons even though people have elected them. They betrayed the people's trust in exactly as those in Parliament and particularly government, do "today".
