On November 15, 2011, Al-Qaeda's media wing Al-Sahab released a 30-minute video message by the organization's leader, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, titled "Days with the Imam – First Episode." Al-Zawahiri, in a rather different appearance than his usual stout and threatening persona, speaks about Osama bin Laden's human and fatherly side, while reminiscing on memories from the past two decades of personally knowing bin Laden.

This video appears to be the first installment in a series carrying a similar "romanticizing" tone, focusing entirely on personal stories of bin Laden.
