German Politicians Want Spain And Italy To Sell Off Their Gold

real reserves will need to come into play before this financial mess is sorted.

If France and Italy want to expand the EFSF, why don't they pledge
their own gold rather than asking Germany to pledge its gold?
Perhaps because Germany actually owes a lot of gold to a lot of
countries?
