Flying start in Feltham

Dear All,

First of all I would like to thank everyone who has come to Feltham to support the by-election so far, it has really started to make an impact.

This weekend is a BIG weekend for the campaign, we need to hit all 12,220 postal voters with a personal letter. The Royal Mail are delivering our election address to postal voters the same day as the ballot papers. This definitely made the difference for us in Barnsley and we feel it will make all the difference for us in Feltham (we have heard the BNP are aiming to do the same thing as they saw the impact in Barnsley with the postal voters).

Please could I ask you to pass on this email to all your contacts and to also call those not on email and encourage them to come along. The office is open from 7am until 8pm; every hour they can spare will be very much appreciated.

This campaign is very similar to Barnsley. The people are fed up with the politicians, they feel they are not listened to and they are furious that we are sending £50m to the EU daily, when they need the money here. Canvassing is the key to this campaign after the postal voters, when we get on the doors they love what they're hearing. We have six people filling in membership forms already.

The campaign office is based at 107 High Street, Feltham, Middlesex TW13 4HG and is in a prime location. It is just a 10 minute walk from Feltham station.

We need people to leaflet, canvass, stand on market stalls, hand out newspapers at the station and the bus stops, and be drivers to take people to and from map locations and the station. We also need people in the office to write out envelopes and fold newspapers. There's something for everyone to do.

If you have members who are unable to come but would like to contribute to the campaign then they can send a cheque made out to UKIP, 107 High St, Feltham, Middlesex TW13 4HG. Just think – if every member donated £2, we would raise over £34,000!

The latest survey has us neck and neck on 8% with the Lib Dems but in the areas where we are already focussing our canvassing efforts they have us on 12%: so with a big push we can push the Lib Dems down and cause shock waves amongst the Conservatives.

Lets make political history again but remember it's a TEAM effort – Together Everyone Achieves More!
