'German Chancellor Angela Merkel has warned that Greece will not receive its next aid tranche unless the voluntary reduction of Greek debt held by its private creditor's moves forward.
“We must see progress on the voluntary restructuring of Greek debt,” Merkel told a joint news conference with French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Berlin on Monday. “Otherwise it won't be possible to pay out the next tranche for Greece,” she added.'

'Adam Werritty, Liam Fox's former adviser whose activities caused the UK Defence Secretary's resignation, held official meetings with a Foreign Office civil servant in the former Labour government, new data shows.
According to new information released under the Freedom of Information Act, Werritty met Matthew Gould, principal private secretary to David Miliband when he was foreign secretary, on September 8, 2009. Moreover, it was revealed that Gould, who is now the British ambassador to Tel Aviv, held eight official talks with Werritty, including a dinner for Fox, when he was the British Defence Secretary, and senior Israeli intelligence officials.'
