Meeting took place in Istanbul to attract investments

(ANSAmed) - ANKARA, 21 MARCH - Opportunities offered by large privatizations plans in Greece regard one third of the country and the expressions of interest by Turkish companies were debated during a summit that took place in Istanbul to stimulate investments in Greece. As the English website of the Hurriyet daily newspaper reports, Greek authorities consider Turkey a valid alternative to Western investors not taking advantage of the billionaire privatisation plan imposed by Greece's lenders.

The plan provides for the sale of ports, airports, power plants, motorways and energy companies and Turkey is a potential purchaser thanks to its rapidly-growing economy in spite of the difficult international situation
