Republicans are afraid of Iran

This is excellent. Klayman blames Republicans and especially McCain, for fighting the wrong wars in the MIddle East and shrinking from the one war worth fighting, namely against Iran.

By Larry Klayman, FREEDOM WATCH USA

Sen. John McCain, that venerable Vietnam War hero, former presidential candidate and perpetual blowhard, typifies the dilemma we all now find ourselves in regarding the Iranian nuclear threat. Sure, President Barack Hussein Obama – a Muslim sympathizer not coincidentally born to a socialist Muslim Kenyan father – has intentionally been negligent, along with his Democratic comrades, in allowing this cancer to grow to the point where it not only is an imminent threat to Israel, but also Europe and the United States – but Republicans as well bear a significant responsibility for the mess we now find ourselves in.

McCain is the “best” example, but just one of many! For John McCain, there is virtually no war that is not worth fighting and dying for – particularly if it concerns a weak Arab country in the Middle East. But when it comes to Persian and now powerful Iran, the senator, like the rest of his Republican colleagues, is a coward.

McCain’s to blame

Why is McCain and the Obama Admin turning a blind eye to the real nature of the opposition it enables to come to power? How can al Qaeda be better than Gadaffi or Assad? What the US should be doing is picking the opposition it wants to support, and providing it with money and arms and air support to attain power. In the case of Syria, The Syrian Democratic Coalition (SDC) is crying out for support and they can get the job done. Ted Belman

Al-Qaeda in Rebel Syria

The Islamist inspiration of the Syrian opposition is obvious.

By John Rosenthal, NRO

On Monday, in calling for airstrikes on Syria, Senator John McCain reprised much the same role he played one year ago at the outset of the Libyan war. Last April, during a highly publicized visit to the cradle of the Libyan rebellion in Benghazi, Senator McCain called for increased American military support for the Libyan rebels. The senator famously described the rebels as his “heroes.” Never mind that these “heroes” had been caught on videocommitting horrific atrocities, nor that one of their commanders had openly acknowledged his ties to al-Qaeda. At the time, such details were of no greater interest to the mainstream American media than they were to Senator McCain or to the Obama administration.

The US and the Middle East ?????

WE GIVE UP

Victor Davis Hanson, NRO

Americans — left, right, Democrats, and Republicans — are all sick of thankless nation-building in the Middle East. Yet democratization was not our first choice, but rather a last resort after other methods failed.

The United States long ago supplied Afghan insurgents, who expelled the Soviets after a decade of fighting. Then we left. The country descended into even worse medievalism under the Taliban. So after removing the Taliban, who had hosted the perpetrators of 9/11, we promised in 2001 to stay on.

Obama Seeks to Delegitimize Israeli Concerns over Iran

Is a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv the only evidence that the Obama administration will accept as proof of Iranian intentions?

by Anne Bayefsky, PJ Media.

Despite Prime Minister Netanyahu’s valiant effort this week to educate President Barack Obama on the meaning of Purim and the centuries-old tale about the triumph of moral leadership and courage, the painful reality is that his message fell on deaf ears. The President does indeed “have Israel’s back” – up against a wall.

Over the course of a week in which the President spoke frequently on the subject of Iran, one message stood out. By vociferously arguing that his administration’s brand of diplomacy is realistically capable of ending Iran’s efforts to acquire nuclear weapons, and that views to the contrary are irresponsible war-mongering, Obama is attempting to undermine the legality of an Israeli strike.

Gaza escalation leaves at least 8 Israelis injured, 12 Palestinians dead

DEBKAfile Exclusive Report March 10, 2012, 8:15 AM

Death of terrorist planner Zuheir al-Qaisi

Palestinian terrorist organizations shot more than 65 Grad and Qassam missiles into a dozen southern Israeli towns and villages in a non-stop barrage Friday night and Saturday morning (March-9-10) in reprisal for the death of Zuheir al-Qaisi, head of the Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza. At least 8 Israeli civilians were injured by missiles and another ten Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli air strikes against missile teams and terrorist targets. Fifteen missiles were intercepted by Iron Dome batteries.

The ”Committees” chief was wanted for his role in setting up the August 2011 Eilat Highway ambush which killed eight Israelis. He was known to be planning a repeat operation in the same part of the Israeli-Egyptian border as the first, which has kept this main artery in the southern half of Israel closed to civilian traffic for six months.

It is a Bombshell: Obama and Critical Race Theory

By Ted Belman

Yesterday I commented that Joel Pollak was brilliant in his handling of Soledad O’Brien the anchoress at CNN and recommended that you watch the video of the exchange.

In the exchange she she tried to argue that Joel didn’t know what Critical Race Theory was, after he explained it. He then turned it back on her and asked her what she thought it was, since she was calling him out on it. After stumbling to to find an answer, all of a sudden, she came up with this “Critical Race Theory looks into the intersection of race and politics and the law.” It seems CNN whispered in her ear the first line from Wikipedia. This came to light afterwards as many googled it to understand it better and noticed the same words she spoke in Wikipedia. Of course that was before the Wikipedia entry was scrubbed.

Big Government has the story.

Soledad tried to argue that this video clip of Obama promoting Bell was no bombshell. Pollak crushed her with his answer so does the IDB in its editorialDerrick Bell: The Jeremiah Wright Of Harvard. Ben Shapiro lobs another bombshell Obama Assigned Reading: Bell Says Whites Might Enslave Blacks
