The air travel carbon tax: an assault on national sovereignty

Now we know that the EU thinks it is the board of directors for the world and is making laws and regulationsunilaterally, starting with the carbon tax on air travel. Many nations, including Russia, China and India, have said they will not pay. But of course, the general impression about the EU carbon tax on air travel is probably that it only affects travel to and from Europe.

However, my next door neighbor just flew down from NY and told me she had to pay an onerous carbon tax on that trip which considerably raised the price. She is financially well off, but says this is a real burden considering the distance she travels in a year's time.

Does anyone else have any information on this?

How about travel within the US? Can the EU force the US to pay a tax to the EU?

This is extremely important to know because if the EU is unilaterally making laws, based on questionable science, and other countries are following them, then we have a de facto world government already and they are taxing YOU, a supposedly sovereign national of a sovereign nation inside or outside the EU.

You can find out by calling the airline or travel agency nearest your home.

Please let us know your findings. Ask your airline or travel agent if the carbon tax is due on travel within the US or to and from countries outside the EU.

The issue isn't the increase in travel costs. It comes down to whether or not nations have any sovereignty left today, and if not, what are the implications of being beholden to a coterie of control freaks on another continent.

America once rebelled due to taxation without representation. Here it comes again.
