Jeremy Hunt Slaughtered in Crossfire
With Rupert Murdoch on the stand at the Leveson Inquiry, this week was never going to go well for the Tories. After Dave relaunched on Monday in an effort to put some bad weeks behind him, Murdoch pulled the pin out of the revenge hand grenade and blew the doors off of Jeremy Hunt's career. Guido was the first to get wind that hundreds of emails would be published on Tuesday afternoon and the rest of the week was mostly spent on the fall out from them. Hunt threw his SpAd under a bus and as of Friday was still fight to save his skin. It could go either way...
