'A new round of calls for punishing austerity and depopulation strategies have sprung up in the wake of a Royal Society report ringing the alarm on the so-called overpopulation crisis. The report, entitled "People and the Planet" was published on April 26th and followed up by a flurry of articles by the usual suspects dutifully parroting the society's dire warnings about the future of humanity in a crowding world. 'A British Conservative MP has warned Prime Minister David Cameron that he could be kicked out of office by his own backbenchers if he does not change his policies.

'The UK Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith has been strongly attacked for defending his decision to close Remploy factories, which employ disabled staff, accusing them of “not doing any work at all.”
Welsh Government Education Minister Leighton Andrews called for Duncan Smith to be sacked after comments he made to the Sunday Express, saying disabled staff just sit around drinking coffee all day.
Confronted by Sunday Express reporters who were delivering more than 15,000 signatures on a “Save Remploy” petition calling on Duncan Smith to save the disabled workers’ jobs, the Minister said, “Is it a kindness to stick people in some factory where they are not doing any work at all? Just making cups of coffee?”'
