The consensus is that the Greek and French elections won't change anything, that Angela Merkel will still get her

way, that austerity will continue. I disagree. I think we should prepare for a very different approach from the

EU, one involving more public spending, common taxes, a bigger budget, Eurobonds and a eurozone finance

ministry.
