 European Jewish Congress Receives Endorsement from Czech Prime Minister on Plan of Action to Combat Rise in Anti-Semitism 
The European Jewish Congress (EJC) held its Executive Meeting in Prague on May 15th, 2012. Following the meeting, all members of EJC Executive were invited by Czech Prime Minister Petr Nečas in the governmental Lichtenstein palace to discuss new threats against the Jewish community. The Passing of Emanuel (Manek) Weintraub (Zal)
Emanuel (Manek) Weintraub, President of the French section of the World Jewish Congress, passed away in Paris, at the age of 83. As a student, Manek Weintraub was elected President of the World Union of Jewish Students and became an active Zionist, a permanent defender of the cause of Israel, and a leader in Jewish life in France, in Europe, and worldwide.
