Dear Editor,OFFICIAL THEFT OF PUBLIC RESOURCEThere can be no doubt that the late Terry Thomas would have described today's politicians as: "An absolute shower.". Young self styled career professionals on inflated incomes and egos, leaning neither to the left nor to the right but towards their own self interest, sans dignity, decorum, propriety or respect for those who made the soft bed on which they recline, possible. These social parasites who were born into a society spared the need to face an armed adversary or the pangs of hunger or rebuild an all but crushed nation, now sneer in contempt at those still living who were faced with such daunting tasks and who are now pensioners. Many of those who were bombed and queued for meagre rations and inadequate food just to survive, and later put their backs to the wheel to rebuild the ruins that formerly were homes, churches, hospitals and schools, and created the welfare state with free and good health care and education for all, now all too often have to choose between keeping warm and eating. Now, to add to that contempt, those pensioners who, despite their age, work in their gardens or on allotments to produce the food they can no longer afford to buy, have been threatened with heavy fines if they attempt to sustain their produce with the use of a hosepipe. They have been told they must use watering cans. Bad backs and worn out hips and knees mean nothing to the parasitical politicians of today who spend more on one posh restaurant meal than the pensioner could afford to spend in a week. What would these know-all know-nothing dictators understand about the hard physical toil that goes into producing vegetables, most of whom have never done an honest days work in their lives? Doubtless they only see gardening as some sort of leisure pursuit and regard 'dig for victory' as some quaint happening that occurred back in the middle-ages.Perhaps the greatest evil is the deceit of these self styled political rulers, posing as the people's politicians. We are an island people surrounded by water, there is ample water for the British people, but not if these islands are to be the dumping ground for the people the nations of Europe do not want, and that is the plan which the Europhile parties in Parliament have agreed to and they dare not back down, for fear of incurring their masters' wrath who are no longer the British people, but the unelected unaccountable bureaucrats of the Franco-German Axis who will never forgive us for the bloody noses we have given them over past centuries and who control every aspect of our lives through their duplicitous agents in Westminster, who have now decided to restrict even the water needed to enable old people to grow their food.It is the old people still living who link the present with times past. This nation has a past of which we should be duly proud, times of bravery and creativity, times of honesty and integrity in leadership, all far beyond the understanding and ability of the usurpers now posing as politicians who in their embarrassment would sweep that living link beneath a carpet of falsehood, ineptitude and deceit.
