I find it increasingly amazing how so many people and nations fail to see the Jewish State as the beginning of fulfillment of Biblical prophesy. Every day events occur which see our entire world beginning to crumble apart. Of course the tiny Jewish State bears most of the responsibility for this. If only the Jews would surrender to their Arab enemies blissful peace would descend upon the world immediately.
It is bad enough that our Arab enemies project that illusion, it is worse that so many of our alleged allies accept it. But what is absolutely outrageous is the fact that our own Israeli leadership actually encourages this nonsense by suggesting that it is reasonable and logical when it patently is not!
The concept of an Arab “Palestinian” is the most effective propaganda weapon to have been wielded in human history. It was the Nazi geniuses who first proved that any lie, no matter how outrageous, if repeated often enough will be believed. Today the Arabs have perfected that axiom. The ancient “Palestinian” Arab, created in 1964 for the sole purpose of creating an artificial underdog which would make Israel appear as a usurper and oppressor of innocent people, has achieved far more in “peace” than any combination of Arab nations have achieved in war toward the effort to destroy the Jewish State.
I do not blame our enemies for seeking to destroy us. That what enemies are for. But how on earth can anyone explain the collusion of Israeli leaders in this veritable act of war? Is there even one party or even one individual Member of Knesset who would dare stand up and declare that any Arab who calls himself a “Palestinian” is an enemy of the Jewish State? If one wants to accept the absurdity of an Arab citizen of Israel how can he also accept the fact that such Arabs themselves refuse to identify with the Jewish State? Again, I do not blame the Arabs for their self-respect and desire to destroy their enemy. I loathe my Jewish leadership which is assisting them in this effort!
Mr. Netanyahu, who possesses a golden tongue and hails from a Zionist background, has crossed every one of his own red lines. He has called for a two state solution, which is an act of treason. He embraced Yasir Arafat, which is an act of Jewish self hatred. And he turned hundreds of outright murderers of Jews free in a deal to release a kidnaped soldier. . . an act which was not only immoral and despicable in and of itself, but which encourages more such kidnaping and shows the enemies of our people that they can literally get away with murder in the Jewish State.
Today Mr. Netanyahu is calling to dissolve the Knesset. That is one body that really needs to be dissolved. Unfortunately the purpose of this tactic is to entrench Bibi with even greater powers than he already possesses. Polls indicate that Likud will gain even more seats after the new election.
Israeli elections are another example of the big lie. Oh yes, the Israeli citizenry can go to the polls and vote for the party of their choice. But once the election is over that is where democracy comes to an end. The people went through the motions of democracy and now the parties themselves decide what to do with the results. They all sell their very souls for a piece of the pie and the results bear little resemblance to the will of the people. Likud may come out stronger, but it will still need to bargain with other parties to create a government. This bargaining is our true “election”. We, the people, have nothing to say in the matter. The government will do what it wants no matter what the majority thinks.
I have long rejected this disgusting system. While I have to accept that which is beyond my ability to change, I do not have to participate in this farce. The indisputable historic fact is that the Jewish State has grown and thrived in spite of its leaders, not because of them. What too many of us fail to realize is the fact that Israel is not like all the other nations. It is a nation that stands alone, not to be reckoned among the nations of the world. Even if we do not like this concept, it is our reality. As much as we try to find a place among the nations, we just cannot accomplish this feat. As much as we try to deny our G-dly destiny we only discover, the hard way, that we cannot change it. We continue to grow and thrive because Divine intervention protects us, even from ourselves.
The reason we have terror in the Jewish State is because our leadership insists upon accepting terrorists as equal citizens here. While the Arabs are in a state of war we delude ourselves into thinking we are making peace! The only way to make peace in this world is to vanquish your enemies. One simply does not bargain his right to exist! He fights for it.
The Living G-d of Israel is the source of our strength. It is only He who guarantees our existence. Our denying this most basic truth is the only real obstacle to peace.
Project Shofar seeks to bring this message to those who choose not to see. It is incredible that the majority, both in the Exile and even in Israel, fail to see the obvious. They prefer to believe in the nonsense that we can make peace with those who seek our destruction rather than to accept the reality that with us is the greatest power in the world Who wants us to make real peace simply by accepting and demonstrating the fact that He and only He is in charge.
