Dr. Roth's is the most straightforward, honest viewpoint on Western involvement in the Middle East that I have read: Dr. Roth said, quote: "Those Islamics marching for democracy were simply used and muted by the Muslim Brotherhood's plans for total take over. Global controls, regulations and rules combined with encroaching Fundamentalist Islam is the double barrel shot gun that threatens to take down America, Israel and the West. Right now, it is attempting to transform the Middle East into an Islamic radical, Muslim Brotherhood zone." http://www.newswithviews.com/Roth/laurie290.htm Contrast this with Romney's politically correct statements on Syrian president Bashir al-Assad (who happens to be arguably the most pro-Christian leader in the region): "After nearly a year and a half of slaughter, it is far past time for the United States to begin to lead and put an end to the Assad regime." Hey Mitt, Assad didn't start this war, the West did, and the Islamists exploited it for the advancement of their agenda. Much of the slaughter was perpetrated by Islamists who hate Christianity, Western ideals and Jews. If anything needs to be ended it is Western involvement in Middle Eastern affairs. Ask yourselves: Are Iran (remember how Carter forced the Shah out?), Egypt (women demonstrating against abuse of women were beaten by a mob a few days ago), Libya, Tunisia (a Christian was beheaded about a week ago) and Iraq (almost all Assyrian Christians are gone) better off today than when the West started intervening and supporting "democracy"? xxxxxxxxxxxx DH PS: I am not endorsing any candidates this election season.
