TREASON IS REWARDED BY THE QUEEN

I feel the same confusion as an old ex-serviceman, brought up in WW2 to love our King and Queen. We now need a new sort of monarch for sure, one that is strong and has leadership qualities, not Charles for certain though.

The story rumbles on - this isn't going to go away, is it? In response to a comment of praise on the Jubilee, from an American reader, watching it all on TV over there, who wrote how well we do these pageants, I wrote back:
Yes, indeed...and thank you! It's about the only thing left that we can still do well! All very moving to watch - and to remember...and to think about....wondering, how it could all be so different, if only the Queen had spoken out!
I know from e-mails received today, that many are now struggling with their feelings, including myself, torn between true loyalty, yet a feeling of betrayal lies behind the pleasure and enjoyment.
However, that said.....there is now further discussion among many at home here, after the very dramatic display of public love and loyalty to the Queen and Royal family, that a further enquiries need to be made, regarding future actions and political moves.
We do really have to establish, whether the Queen was actually in a position to change the course of history - or not!
The devotion is obviously there, from the people, in fact the world, and nobody would believe you, if you said "She has double-crossed us all!" - They wouldn't believe you and that's plain to see from these last 4 days, so a re-think is required.

Only today (Tues 4th) I saw an e-mail saying that "the Royal Assent had been passed to Parliament on a regular basis, for several centuries (it even listed all the Kings and why they had done so) leaving subsequent Parliaments "to do as they liked" - which they have duly done!" Wrecking the nation in the process!
It also stated that "due to Cancer, King George the VI, the Queen's Father, even he passed the Assent over - and it then stayed with Parliament until the present Queen was Crowned, whereupon it returned to Her, as Sovereign Ruler! Is this true?
Now...the big question is - has Queen Elizabeth ever passed the Royal Assent over to Parliament, during Her 60 year reign?
If so - the government are indeed, the main target of attack - and not the Queen!
Following these 4 emotional days, the words of the song are highly apt and appropriate......"Love, changes everything"!
Time for a strategic re-think!

PS: This below is about traitors being honoured in Westminster Abbey, but the allied and main topic today is "Is the Queen truly responsible and able to speak out, or not?"
Most of you are extremely quiet on this one - perhaps you don't read my e-mails? I expect you think like me, it's all too awful to even think about? Can't say I blame you!
Yet, the ship is sinking - so we really must stop arranging the deckchairs!

There is also another travesty within those hallowed walls of the Abbey. The ashes of Sidney and Beatrice Webb, both earl communists, founder members of the Fabian Society and avowed atheists, were interred in the Abbey in 1947. They were against everything we English hold dear including the Monarchy.
You also have to remember that the Abbey is a Royal Peculiar, owned by our Sovereign and Governor of the Church of England. But then Heath was also made a Knight of the Garter, which is in the sole gift of the Queen.
Some incongruities here would you agree?
