Saturday, 28 July 2012 07:29 'The U.S. House Thursday approved a bill that would largely prevent President Barack Obama from creating new federal regulations for the remainder of his term. The bill would prevent the administration from imposing major new regulations for two years, or until unemployment falls to 6 percent. It would also bar the White House from issuing major new rules between Election Day and Inauguration Day if Obama does not win re-election to a second term, The Hill reported.'

'For the last three decades several leaks have come out indicating that the CIA is directly involved in illegal drug trafficking.
From planes registered to the CIA caught with tons of cocaine, whistleblowers exposing the the phony police war on drugs or that cartels worked directly with US agencies, to the CIA/Pentagon protecting the poppy crop in Afghanistan whose opium trade exploded after the 2001 invasion; the evidence is mounting that the CIA is clearly involved in some manner.
Although the idea that the CIA is involved in illegal drug trafficking is still relegated to conspiracy theory, this week a Mexican official openly accused the CIA of "managing" the drug trade.'

'Britain in its hour of trouble needs a Tony Blair. It has a queen, a prime minister, a chancellor, a leader of the opposition, but it is deficient in Tony Blairs. Or that is what Tony Blair thinks. He last year earned £20m from this and that, and feels that now his purpose "is not to make money but to make a difference". The old phraseology still brings a tear to the eye
Blair's contribution to economic policy is that "Britain must not hang 20 bankers at the end of the street", a dutiful nod in the direction of his £2m salary from JP Morgan. He is an adviser to Kazakhstan on human rights and to the Labour party on Olympics legacy, a double whammy of hopeless causes. The Kazakh dictator, Nursultan Nazarbayev, apparently paid him $13m to eulogise his odious regime in a state video and applaud him for "subtlety and ingenuity … in a region fraught with difficulties".'

'If you were ever in doubt about the custom-built scientific tyranny in store for us all read on.
It was my job to simply pick up a colleague from Luton Airport. Unexpectedly, I found that there was now a £1.00 “drop-off pick-up airport charge” which allowed me 15 minutes to collect my passenger. My 15 minute time-ration allowed me to spend 10 minutes looking for a space on a gravel-patch that was chock-a-block with cars parked like sardines in a can.
Customers are expected to turn their car on the space of a coin and then there isn’t enough room to open the door. If my friend hadn’t been an ex-driving instructor to stand outside the vehicle and help us inch the car into position I’d still be there. So much for the first 10 minutes of my time-ration, I had now five minutes left to get back in my car and get the hell out of there before the pick-up drop off-charge morphed into a £4.80 drop-off pick-up charge as penalty for my non-compliance.'
