Beit Hatfutsot, the Museum of the Jewish People on the Tel Aviv University campus, is more than a museum. This unique global institution tells the ongoing and extraordinary history of the Jewish people. Beit Hatfutsot connects Jewish people to their roots and strengthens their personal and collective Jewish identity. Beit Hatfutsot conveys to the world the fascinating narrative of the Jewish people and the essence of the Jewish culture, faith, purpose and deed while presenting the contribution of world Jewry to humanity. Is the two-state solution doable?

By Ted Belman

Is the two-state solution doable? Dani Dayan, Chairman of the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria, thinks not. Seth Mandel thinks otherwise.

The NYT published a strongly worded Op-Ed this week by Dani Dayan, under the title “Israel’s Settlers are here to stay”. Seth Mandel, in an article in Commentary Magazine, called his comments “wrongheaded”.

Mandel accused him of ignoring “both an accepted reality and the Palestinian people”. Dayan has every right to ignore or even reject, both. Mandel further complained that “two of his ideas contained in the op-ed would be, if accepted, detrimental to the American foreign policy doctrine that results in such steadfast American support for Israel.” I beg to differ for reasons set ?out below.

Mandel writes:

The United States, Russia, and The Syrian Crisis

This is exactly how my working group on a federated Syria sees the conflict and the solution. Ted Belman

By Georgy Gounev, AMERICAN THINKER

The most important international factor that influences the Syrian crisis is the politics of the United States and Russia. In the eyes of the majority of the American observers, the primary factor for the continuing bloodshed in Syria is the diplomatic and military support rendered to Assad’s regime by Russia.

Let’s take a closer look at the main arguments of the powerful group of observers and experts who tend to blame exclusively Moscow for the endless bloodbath in Syria. Some of those arguments are absolutely correct. It is true that one of the main reasons for the Russian attitude is the traditional close relationship between Moscow and Damascus that has lasted for decades. It is also true that the loss of this connection will deprive Russia of its only remaining ally in the area. In case of a regime change, Russia is about to lose Tartus, which is the only base of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean.

Two Must Read Open Letters From Lou Pritchett - former CEO of Proctor & Gamble to President Obama

These letters are damning.

Pritchett, posted his first open letter to Pres. Obama, You Scare Me to the internet after having first submitted it to the New York Timesfor publication, but was ignored. That letter has since gone viral.

It has been confirmed authentic by:

Truth & Fiction http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/p/pritchett-obama-youscareme.htm

Snopes http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/youscareme.ASP and

Urban Legends http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/barackobama/a/Lou-Pritchett-Letter-To-Obama.htm

The letter is set out below and worth reading. It makes a compelling case against Obama citing facts, facts and facts, raising fair and legitimate questions and drawing reasoned, logical and common sense conclusions therefrom.

Committed Democrats and other liberal and left wing blinkered Obama lovers will not of course read Pritchett’s letters. They should. If there are any who are prepared to and can make a cogent case to refute Pritchett’s case against Obama, they should in the interests of giving Americans cogent and relevant information to better enable them to make informed choices in the upcoming election.

So far however, from the Obama-Democratic camp and support base, the public has largely been fed a steady diet of blinkered ideological sound bites, negative attack ads, partisan rhetoric and talking points that appeal to emotion, but not to Americans intellect and common sense. Yes, the Republicans too have engaged in some of that, but not nearly to the extent Obama and his supporters have.

Americans deserve better from both Democrats and Republicans.

Anyone however, with a lick of sense and modicum of knowledge of pertinent factswho reads the following, cannot help but see exactly what Pritchett is getting at, why and understand that he makes a very strong case.

The authenticity of Pritchett’s “You Scare Me” letter has also been confirmed by Lou Pritchett himself in a follow up open letter on JUly 11/12 to Pres. Obama that would best be entitled: Mr. President, You Don’t Just Scare Me - You Terrify me.

Both letters are important and insightful reads and should be forwarded on to your own e mail lists.

First is Pritchett’s “You Scare Me” Open letter that is set out in full below.

Then read:

Mr. President, You Don’t Just Scare Me - You Terrify me.

"We the people are the rightful masters of both

Congress & the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution,

but overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."

Abraham Lincoln

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike

Any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive

Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no

Visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth

Growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus

Don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned

Yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to

Publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail..

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America '

Crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style

Country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system

With a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly

Capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose

That lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of

Living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics

Against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from

Challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider

Opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both

Omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything

You do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the

Limbaugh's, Hannitys, O'Reillys and Becks who offer opposing,

Conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will

Probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Lou Pritchett

This letter was first sent to the NY Times, but they ignored it.

Posting it to the internet however, has given Pritchett’s letter great exposure with over 2 million hits and counting.

Please do forward this e mail on, especially to your American relatives and friends and urge them to read Pritchett’s first “You Scare Me” letter and then his follow up open letter I entitled: Mr. President, You Don’t Just Scare Me - You Terrify me.the link to which, is provided above.
