Dr. Aaron Lerner was interviewed on Aug 7, 2012 on WTPN's Building Bridges - San Francisco program.
The program was with the participation of Ece Koc, an associate of Adnan
Oktar of Turkey.
In the course of the interview, Lerner suggests that it is not respectful of
other belief systems to claim that Iranians who want to cause an apocalypse
with nuclear weapons in order to bring about the return of the hidden imam
are irrational just as it is improper to dismiss as irrational mothers in
Gaza looking forward to the day that their sons will go to Paradise blowing
up in a suicide bombing. Only by recognizing that these are genuine beliefs
is it possible, Lerner notes, for us to appropriately address the situation.
