Hague says the UK's extra £5m in non-lethal equipment to Syrian opposition groups is "the right thing to do"£32,500,000 given to Syrian rebels. Yet our, 'compassionate', politicians can't find the means to fund cancer treatments for suffers here in the UK.
Seems that Hague the Vague considers it inappropriate to provide humanitarian aid to Britons facing life threatening illness as he joins Cameron in parroting that other countries need help and Britain must give it!
BBC:
Foreign Secretary William Hague says the UK's commitment of an extra £5m in non-lethal equipment to Syrian opposition groups is "the right thing to do" and will "help save lives".
The help for unarmed opposition members will include medical supplies and radio and satellite equipment. Hague confirmed that 'Britain' was speaking to people from the political arm of the Free Syrian Army. Reminiscent of talking to the political wing of the IRA during the height of the 'troubles', don't you think?
Hague emphasised that the extra millions will not include weapons, and is in addition to £27.5m humanitarian aid already given/pledged(?).
