Some really interesting news items definitely not available on the BBC, nor to be found to any extent in the UK newspaper media. Who would have believed a short time ago that if we wanted to know the truth, we would have to seek it from any source apart from sources originating from the UK?

Polish president says US missile deployment a ‘mistake’

Posted: 06 Aug 2012 11:20 AM PDT

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski has described as “a political mistake” his country’s agreement to let the deployment of US missile system on its territory by 2018.
“Our mistake was that while accepting the US proposal, we have not taken into account a political risk related to the change of the US president. We have paid a too high political price for that,” Komorowski told the Wprost magazine, RIA Novosti reported on Monday.
“Spending large sums on military hardware is actually meaningless if it is not secured from… the missile attack and air raids,” Komorowski said.
The United States had scrapped plans in September of 2010 for a missile system in the Czech Republic and Poland.
Moscow welcomed the move, and Russia’s then-President Dmitry Medvedev said later that Russia would drop plans to deploy Iskander-M tactical missiles in its Kaliningrad Region, which borders NATO members, Poland and Lithuania.
Last year, however, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced Washington’s plans to deploy the US new-generation ballistic missile system in Poland by 2018.

False Flag Sikh Massacre In US Shocks Top Russian Leaders

Posted: 06 Aug 2012 10:59 AM PDT

A grim report prepared by Deputy Prime Minister Vladislav Surkov on the latest false flag massacre in America is warning today that Russia should be prepared for “unprecedented and potentially catastrophic” rapid changes to occur in the United States within the next few months as the forces battling for control over this global Superpower appear to be nearing open warfare.
According to Western reports, this latest massacre occurred in the State of Wisconsin when a tall, bald, white man in his 40s opened fire just before services had begun, entering the kitchen at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in suburban Milwaukee at about 10:30 a.m. CDT (1530 GMT) as women prepared a Sunday meal, sending worshippers fleeing to escape the barrage.
Some witnesses, these reports continue, said the attacker had a 9/11 tattoo, marking the 11 September 2001 attacks by Islamic militants. “He had tattoos, I don’t know what the exact markings were, or if they represented any of his beliefs or what they stood for,” said Thomas Ahern, a spokesman for the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.”
Four people were shot dead inside the sprawling temple.[photo bottom left] Three more, including the gunman, were killed outside after a firefight with local police.
Subsequent Western reports say this attack was an act of domestic terrorism carried out by a “white supremacist” who acted alone and used as his weapon a semi-automatic handgun.
These reports, however, conflict with eyewitnesses [see below videos] who state that this
massacre was carried out by 4 heavily armed men, all dressed in black, who used automatic weapons, and like the recent Colorado movie theater shooting used gas to shock their victims into inaction when the attack began.

In our two previous reports on the Colorado shooting (“Colorado Massacre Linked To Historic Bank Fraud” and “Mysterious Radio “Blast” Before Colorado Massacre Puzzles Scientists”) we noted the increasingly harsh moves being made against the American people by their government in order to disarm them.
The popular US alternative media website InfoWars.com further notes about this latest massacre that,“Obama insiders have publicly bragged that they have an ace up their collective sleeves against political enemies-staged mass shootings, bombings and other nasty terror.”
To the reason why the truth of this massacre is being covered up was recently revealed in a New York Times article that said when it comes to Administration-related “news” reported by the national press corps it
must first be approved for publication by President Obama himself. And with an order such as that coming from a President who has publically stated he has the right to assassinate any American citizen he so chooses one can readily understand the fear of anyone who challenges him.
As to the forces and reasons behind the escalating number of  these “false flag” attacks in the United States we had previously detailed in our 22 July report “Obama Plan To Shatter “Permanent War Economy” Panics Global Elites” wherein we noted that this titanic battle shows every sign of getting much worse before it gets better.

Egyptian Air Force Deploys Fighter Jets To The Sinai

Posted: 06 Aug 2012 10:56 AM PDT

Egyptian Air Force deployed fighter jets in the Sinai Peninsula on Monday in the wake of the Kerem Shalom attack, for the first time since the Egypt-Israel peace treaty was signed in 1979, Egyptian news agencies reported.
Two fighter jets, armed with attack missiles, arrived in El Arish early Monday morning to assist in the effort to track down the fugitive terrorists responsible for the killing of 16 Egyptian soldiers on the border with Israel, a high-ranking security official in northern Sinai told the Egyptian news site Al Masrawi. The source added that more military aircraft were on their way.
He also said that within 48 hours, large military reinforcements would arrive in Sinai — a special measure coordinated with Israel in order to help track down the terrorists in Sinais rough terrain.
According to the official announcement by the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces, 35 terrorists carried out the Kerem Shalom attack, at least 30 of whom were still on the run. SCAF also reported that elements from the Gaza Strip assisted in the terrorist attack by firing mortars at Israel prior to the assault.
The Sinai has seen a surge of violence since Mubarak’s ouster last year, but Sunday’s attack was the worst in several years. Suspected Islamists attacked the checkpoint in the border town of Rafah at sunset, killing the soldiers as they were sitting down for the traditional meal breaking the fast in the holy month of Ramadan.
The attackers then commandeered two of their vehicles and burst through a security fence into Israel, according to Israeli officials. They said the incursion was quickly spotted and hit with an airstrike. Egypt’s military said only one armored vehicle was commandeered.
The unrest in Sinai poses a daunting challenge to President Morsi, who since coming into office a little more than a month ago has warmed up to Gaza’s Hamas rulers. Hamas officials have condemned the killings, but Morsi may still come under pressure to back down from plans to end Egypt’s cooperation with the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.
He vowed on Sunday night to make the killers pay for their crime and to restore security to Sinai, home to several of the most popular Red Sea resorts in Egypt. On Monday, he declared three days of mourning for the victims, according to state television.
“This is a huge calamity for Egypt,” declared his spokesman Yasser Ali.

US, Israel arranging roles in Iran war
Reports are surfacing of a US-Israeli plan to attack Irans ballistic missile batteries, giving Israel extra space to tackle Syria and Hezbollah. While no talks have been confirmed, anonymous sources claim that war plans have been put to paper.
While it’s unclear how far-reaching the US and Israeli plans are, some say the allies have detailed intentions to destroy the Islamic Republic’s ballistic missiles – and let Israel launch an assault on Syria and Hezbollah to boot.
An anonymous US military source told DEBKAfile, a website covering Israel-related security issues, that the US Air Force will be tasked with destroying Iran’s Shahab-3 ballistic missile batteries. Each of these missiles has a range of 1,280 kilometers (800 miles), making them capable of reaching Israel and Saudi Arabia.
Upgraded versions of the Shahab-3′s can reach targets 2,000 kilometers away. In the past, Iran has warned that its missiles will always be ready to launch in case of an attack.
By destroying the Shahabs-3′s, Israel would be able to focus its energy on taking on perceived threats from Syria, Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas, without having to worry about an attack from Iran, the official told DEBKAfile.
And last weekend, an anonymous senior US official told an Israeli newspaper that National Security Advisor Tom Donilon had briefed Israeli authorities on a contingency plan, in case of a showdown with Iran.
Israel has denied reports of such a plan, but last week’s talks between US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have still caused a heated debate.
If tensions with Iran increase, some predict the US may attack the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities in an attempt to protect Israel, the source said in a briefing.
But Tehran is only estimated to have between 30 and 40 of these missiles – a small number that could hardly make a dent during times of war. If used against the US and its allies, the missiles would be quickly destroyed by the American Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Systems and Israel’s Arrow guided interceptor rockets.
Even if the missiles had a chance to reach their targets, the military source told DEBKAfile that Iran would probably not waste them all at once.
“They are too canny to leave themselves without some Shahabs in reserve for crises even more acute than the outbreak of war,” the source said.
But Iran has other missiles. Iranian Defense Minister Gen. Ahmad Vahidi said the fourth generation of high-precision Fateh-110 missiles, with a range of over 300 kilometers (185 miles), was successfully test-fired on Saturday, showing Iran’s ability to strike targets in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
“Using new guidance methods, target-striking systems were installed on the missiles and during the flight test … its ability to hit the target without deviation was proven,” Vahidi told the IRNA news agency.
Last month, the Pentagon reported that Iran is working on a missile capable of reaching the United States, and is aiming for completion of the project within the next three years.
And after the US angered Tehran by voting for greater sanctions last week, war seems ever more likely. Israel is now upgrading its Arrow II ballistic missile shield, which is designed to neutralize incoming missiles at altitudes high enough for non-conventional warheads to disintegrate safely.
And whether or not the US Army is ready for another war, the latest sanctions, combined with Iran’s ballistic missile testing, continue to escalate tensions between the US and the Islamic Republic.
