What About The Jews Who Fled Arab Countries?

And: Questions hang over circumcision in Germany - and over their boycott of goods from Judea and Samaria.

More than 800,000 Jews had to leave Arab countries after Israel’s declaration of Independence, because their safety was in danger and their livelihood was taken from them,
yet all the world only talks about the approximately 700,000 registered Arab refugees who willingly left Israel during the 1948 War of Independence and have now multiplied to 5 million, because UNWRA, the United Nations aid organisation especially set up for them, considers all their descendants as refugees, regardless of their present place of residence, nationality or economic situation.
Thus, prosperous Arab Americans, whose grandfathers left the fledgling Israel is counted as a refugee.
UNWRA’s official operational definition of a Palestine refugee is any person whose "normal place of residence was Palestine during the period 1 June 1946 to 15 May 1948 and who lost both home and means of livelihood as a result of the 1948 conflict.….. and descendants of fathers fulfilling the definition.”
That includes all those who came from far away places during the last two years of the British Mandate, to seek work in Palestine either in British or in Jewish establishments.
They therefore would have had a home to which to return.
International aid continues to flow into UNWRA’s coffers to this day. Since 1950 the US alone has contributed, 4 billion and 119 million dollars ($4,119,000,000).
All that, in addition to regular financial aid from European countries and NGO's.
The total amount is staggering.
Yet UNWRA work hand in hand with the ruling Hamas in Gaza who ensure that all local UNWRA employees are their members.
It’s nothing more than 'jobs for the boys,' both for UNWRA and Hamas.
Interestingly, all other refugees in the world are aided by the UNHCR the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
Under his auspices, once a refugee has been accepted by a host country and has settled there, the refugee status is withdrawn, and with it any aid.
Descendants are not considered to be refugees.
So are Arabs who live in Lebanon, Syria or Jordan or even in Gaza or the Palestinian Authority area a quasi Palestinian State, refugees?

Walter Bingham was born in, Germany. Just days before the outbreak of WWII, with the help of a Zionist youth movement he was selected for a place on the ‘Kindertransport’ to Great Britain. Walter saw front line action during the Normandy invasion of Europe and was awarded the Military Medal for ‘Bravery in the Field’. In England Walter also acted in films including several Harry Potter films. On the day of his Aliyah in August 2004 he transferred his programme ‘Walter’s World’ to Israel National Radio as a weekly Magazine programme and it has been running here regularly ever since. Walter is an accomplished public speaker and was a member of a visiting panel of lecturers at schools throughout the UK, where he spoke on events in the Third Reich. He has also spoken at schools in the USA and addressed audiences in Israel.
