Conservatives will need to team up
with Ukip to win election, says Farage,

Not joining, but negotiating with the Tories. Here's part of his
speech. It's on the BBC, but I got it from the UKIP site:

The Tories have to reform THEMSELVES, not expect UKIP to come to their
rescue. It didn't work last time and won't work this time either.

Imagine any other well-known politician of times past leading UKIP,
Macmillan for example: how, after nigh-on twenty years could there NOT
be a sizeable bloc in parliament right now? The answer comes down to one
man, who's stubbornly resisted attempts to plan properly and run UKIP
like the efficient machine it needed to be.

There was a time when thee were no "English Democrats" and the BNP were
on the wane. UKIP squandered the opportunity to grow. It's wasted tens
of thousands of pounds on quite unnecessary court battles, and leaves a
trail of broken promises behind it.

Now, when leaving the EU is being talked about even by Lib Dem
supporters (although they won't admit it publicly), UKIP still has no
real traction.

UKIP needs to ask some tough questions about if they REALLY want to
leave the EU or just do lots of clapping practice in meetings.

If the former, they'd better find someone more competent.
