TEL AVIV – It is hard to remember a moment when the United States’ foreign policy establishment showed as much unanimity as in its horror at the prospect of a unilateral Israeli strike on Iran.
In a September 10 report for Georgetown University’s Center for Strategic and International Studies, Anthony Cordesman warns,
“A strike by Israel on Iran will give rise to regional instability and conflict as well as terrorism. The regional security consequences will be catastrophic.”
And a “bi-partisan” experts’ group headed by former National Security Advisor Brent Scowcroft and co-signed by most of the usual suspects states,
“Serious costs to US interests would also be felt over the longer term, we believe, with problematic consequences for global and regional stability, including economic stability. A dynamic of escalation, action, and counteraction could produce serious unintended consequences that would significantly increase all of these costs and lead, potentially, to all-out regional war.”
Ed Koch Reverses Position, Slams Obama’s “Weakness” on Muslims
Former NYC Mayor, Democrat Ed Koch, on Rosh Hashannah: “No one understands what ‘we have Israel’s back’ means”.
At Park East Synagogue’s Rosh Hashannah High Holiday service, September 17, 2012, Former Mayor Ed Koch during his annual “sermon” from the pulpit, in front of over a thousand worshippers, said “I’m distressed.”

The World Bank, in asking for the development of Area A, is ignoring the Oslo Accords which make no provision for the development of Area C. The EU is likewise ignoring it and assisting the Arabs to steal land in Area C. It is disturbing that Israel is helping them to a degree in this endeavour.
As for the shortfall in the budget, why not ask them to stop all their worldwide propaganda and close all their so-called embassies.Ted Belman
Development of Area C is necessary for sustainable Palestinian economic growth, the World Bank said in a report it published Wednesday calling for donor countries to pledge $400 million to fix a shortfall in the PA’s 2012 budget when the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee meets in New York on September 23.
“Donors do need to act urgently in the face of a serious fiscal crisis facing the PA in the short term,” World Bank Country Director for the West Bank and Gaza Mariam Sherman said.

The United States is positioning military forces so that it can respond to unrest in as many as 17 or 18 places in the Islamic world, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced late Friday. “We have to be prepared in the event that these demonstrations get out of control,” he said.
Those words dashed hopes in Washington that the anti-US Islamist rampage by now sweeping 21 countries over a video deriding Islam had passed their peak. In fact, by their sixth day Saturday, Sept. 15,the street protests against American embassies and other US symbols of influence were growing more violent and more organized, threatening not only American lives but tearing up President Barack Obama’s entire outreach policy toward Arabs and Muslims. REMEMBER, MOTHER JONES IS A FAR LEFT ANTI-ISRAEL SITE
At a private fundraiser (in May), the GOP candidate calls Middle East peace “almost unthinkable” and says he would “kick the ball down the field.”
At the private fundraiser held May 17 where Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney candidly … discussed various foreign policy positions, sharing views that he does not express in public, including his belief that peace in the Middle East is not possible and a Palestinian state is not feasible.
Mother Jones has obtained video of Romney at this intimate dinner and has confirmed its authenticity. The event
was held at the home of
controversial private equity manager Marc Leder in Boca Raton, Florida, with tickets costing
$50,000 a plate. During the freewheeling conversation, a donor asked Romney how the “Palestinian problem” can be solved. Romney immediately launched into a detailed reply, asserting that the Palestinians have “no interest whatsoever in establishing peace, and that the pathway to peace is almost unthinkable to accomplish.”

Read both the Rubin article, The Syrian Tragedy and the McCarthy article on Obama and the first amendment published just below.
The Syrian civil war has crossed a red line. Some people may think this happened a few weeks or months ago but at any rate it is clearly true now. The prospects for an Islamist (Muslim Brotherhood, Salafist, and Jihadist) takeover have risen high enough that it is better to freeze Western intervention. In other words, the West should not do more to aid the rebellion and should consider stopping its current efforts in that direction.
Here is a fact so shocking that it should be the centerpiece of any discussion over Syria. It is so important I’m going to put it in bold:
The Obama Administration is backing (Islamist) Turkey as the distributor of weapons supplied by (opportunistically pro-Islamist) Qatar. Turkey and Qatar want to give the Muslim Brotherhood a monopoly over receiving weapons even though most of the rebels are non- and even anti-Islamist. As this happens, the Obama Administration is thus working directly to install a revolutionary Islamist regime in Syria that will disrupt the region, help shred, U.S. interests, and battle with Israel for decades to come. A number of Republican senators see no problem with this strategy.

Outside the U.S. embassy in Cairo, September 11, 2012
Democrats and their sharky Obamedia defense lawyers are in a snit. For three dreamy convention days in Charlotte, they told themselves that, for the first time in decades, it was their guy who had the upper hand when it came to national security. Now that bubble has burst, the way contrived narratives do when they crash into concrete challenges. At that point, an airy president of the world won’t do; we need to have a president
of the United States, a job that has never suited, and has never been of much interest to, Barack Obama.

The Obama administration and the embassy rioters find common ground.
The photo of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula being led from his Cerritos, Calif., home has become an Internet sensation, giving rise, among other things, to a popular
QuickMeme and a call from Glenn Reynolds for President Obama’s resignation:
“By sending–literally–brownshirted enforcers to engage in–literally–a midnight knock at the door of a man for the non-crime of embarrassing the President of the United States and his administration, President Obama violated that oath . You can try to pretty this up (It’s just about possible probation violations! Sure.), or make excuses or draw distinctions, but that’s what’s happened. It is a betrayal of his duties as President, and a disgrace.”

Steve Klein, advisor to film The Innocence of Muslims
Last, Friday, Tom Trento of The United West did a Skype interview with Steve Klein, an advisor on the maligned film, The Innocence of Muslims on his Trentovision program that airs on WUNN 1470AM in Florida. The Huffington Post had a profile of Klein, see here. Because of the quality of the USStream video, we asked our colleague Vlad Tepes at the
Vladtepesblog.com to excerpt and clean up the audio portion of the interview with Klein. The excerpted interview with Klein has been posted this afternoon on the MRCTV channel. Klein has been interviewed by several international news organizations and characterized as an anti-Islam extremist.
Klein is a former Nam era Combat Marine officer and besides his insurance agency he had become a counter Jihadist educator in California working with Christian and former Muslim refugees from the Middle East. He notes in the Trentovision interview that some of the portrayals in the poorly made film were allegedly checked out by knowledgeable experts like Nonie Drawish to verify that the scenes complied with the Qur’an, the Hadith and Sunnah.

Little did I suspect how prophetic my comments were following the attack on the US Embassy in Cairo. An Egyptian mob stormed the US Embassy in Cairo, tore down the American flag and destroyed it on the anniversary of 9/11 and replaced it with an Islamic flag associated with Muslim terrorists.
I asked then “How is democracy working out for you, America, with the new ‘Arab Spring’ you encouraged in the Middle East?”
Today came the tragic news of the murder of the American Ambassador at the US Consulate in Libya, and my question now demands a clear answer from the Obama-Clinton Administration whose foreign policy lies in tatters in the Middle East.
For two years I, and other Israeli experts, have insisted that the Arab Spring is, in reality, the Islamic Winter. We were right. You were wrong.

Last week was sure depressing. Obama was rising in the polls to significant leads especially in the swing states. How could this be? What with the debacle on the convention floor with the vote on the platform amendment, the flow of negative info on the economy, QE3 and most importantly, the multiple attacks on US Embassies throughout the Arab world.
Yesterday the big story was that the Romney camp was going to switch strategy because of the polls. It was all over the media and I began to wonder if these article and the polls were intended as self fulfilling prophesies.

By James E. Horn, Author of EXPERIENCING ISLAM
I am a retired American Diplomat. I served my country abroad for twenty-five years, a ten of those in Islamic countries. I held the highest levels of TOP SECRET security clearances with Code Word access to Sensitive Compartmentalized Intelligence (SCI). I was awarded a medal for VALOR, for actions I took during the war in Cambodia in 1975. Among other things, I worked very successfully in embassy and diplomatic security, counter intelligence, and counter terrorism. Portions of my highly rated book, EXPERIENCING ISLAM were censored by the CIA.

The Premodern Middle East and Postmodern West Don’t Mix, Mr. President
Globalization certainly did not bring the premodern world of the Middle East closer together with the postmodern West — despite Barack Obama’s 2007 narcissistic vows that his own intellect and background
could bridge such a gap. If anything, the more we know about each other, the more we sense we are back to Lepanto and the siege of Vienna. Since the 9/11 anniversary attacks, the Obama administration has seemed
bewildered, petulant, and more or less shocked in
Casablanca-style fashion about the hatred shown the United States — whether overt among the Arab Street, or implicit among Arab governments’ wink-and-nod inability to protect U.S. embassies. It apparently forgot some basic rules about how to deal with radical Islam, and instead regressed back to the old familiar appeasement that led to 9/11/2001.
