Is This Election Important?
Why have we seen this happen? I can only blame one group, pastors. In 1954 when the Johnson Amendment took the church out of the political arena the influence of the church in politics was so severely restricted that it was no longer a viable influence in our government. Some find this inappropriate, the church's involvement in politics, but that concept shows how ignorant so many people are concerning the church's role in the Revolutionary War.
