At 9pm Eastern Time on Tuesday 2nd October, the website The Daily Caller aired a tape of Obama which has never been seen before.
The tape makes its first airing on a UK outlet right here at The Commentator. During the 40 minute rant, Obama, who was still a Senator when this speech was recorded, sets out some horrible left-wing prejudices that he clearly holds dear.
Obama's scorn for the poor is obvious. While many left-wing parties and figureheads have used the poor for their own political gain, this is the first time a US president has been caught so shamefully denying the lower class' ability to think for and look after themselves.
Obama also adopts a strange accent, one which you would not usually hear from Mr. President, or indeed Mr. Candidate. Obama's speech is clearly 'targeted' and much like George Galloway a few months back, Obama seems to feel it is necessary to put on a 'voice' to speak to his audience.
Obama makes repeated and almost explicit appeals to black solidarity, referring to “our” people and “our neighborhoods,” as distinct from the 'white majority'.
He suggests that black people were excluded from rebuilding contracts after the Katrina storm in New Orleans: “We should have had our young people trained to rebuild the homes down in the Gulf. We don’t need Halliburton doing it. We can have the people who were displaced doing that work. Our God is big enough to do that.”
HEAR THE DIFFERENCE IN SHORT:

A lot of the video speaks for itself, and we'll have some further commentary later. But for now, watch in awe as this potential game changing video shows us precisely why Obama should not be trusted with another four years in office.
According to the Daily Caller, in the version of the speech distributed to reporters, Obama’s speech ends:
“America is going to survive. We won’t forget where we came from. We won’t forget what happened 19 months ago, 15 years ago, thousands of years ago.”
But that’s not what he actually said. In front of the audience in Hampton, Obama ends his speech this way:
“America will survive. Just like black folks will survive. We won’t forget where we came from. We won’t forget what happened 19 months ago, or 15 years ago, or 300 years ago.”
The Daily Caller insists, it’s a reference the audience understood.
