Almost always a reliable indicator that something useful has been done, if the IslamoNazi FPI don’t like it.
They’re ululating this week about the transfer of  terrorist  Abu Bakr Basyir, as nasty a piece of work as could be found anywere – though to be fair the swine just extradited to America from the UK is up there alongside him as a hate-spewing ratbag.
Funny how such terrorist transfers evoke similar outbursts wherever they occur.
Jakarta Globe Saturday reported that Indonesia’s infamous firebrand cleric and convicted terrorist Abu Bakar Bashir has been transferred to the high-security prison island of Nusa Kambangan, for a reason not yet disclosed by police.

Bashir’s assistant Hasyim Abdullah said Bashir would be incarcerated at Batu Penitentiary on Nusa Kambangan, dubbed the “Alcatraz of Indonesia” due to its high security. Well, the ould fiend will be in congenial company then.
Batu Penitentiary hosted the infamous Bali bomber trio — Amrozi, Imam Samudera and Mukhlas — who were executed in 2008 for their roles in the 2002 Bali bombings.
Pity they don’t just execute their new guest too.
Hasyim said the Muslim Lawyers Team (TPM), which often represents defendants charged with terrorism at trial, would consider Bashir’s sudden relocation a problem.
That TPM is curiously named. They have not in my experience represented any ‘normal’ Muslim crims, accused of murder, robbery, pick-pocketing or any run-of-the-mill crimes.  I’d have thought their choice of name and the cases they choose to take up are almost bound to give their religion a bad name.
The transfer was carried out just a few days after Bashir slammed Indonesian law enforcers’ “lenient” action against members of the Papuan pro-independence group West Papua National Committee (KNPB)… Hasyim said on Tuesday that Bashir was outraged at the “unfairness” of his treatment by authorities when compared with the handling of the KNPB members.
BORING! He continually spouts self-pity, as if a creature who urged his fans to attack tourists on the beaches deserves an audience, never mind sympathy. 
But sympathy’s what he’s getting from the ‘Defenders of Islam!’

Wisdom and tact? Sick old dogs are usually put down. That would have been a wiser, if not more tactful, course of action.
But more to the point, how come the senescent swine was able to broadcast that recent drivel?
He’s a terrorist, for Heaven’s sake. They should be held incommunicado to prevent them spreading their poison via handphones or any other means of communication.
Will this new prison regime act to ensure we don’t hear his sectarian garbage again?
