UK Health Chief Earns £366,000 on Top of Salary Amid Recession

'Britain’s Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has pocketed £366,000 on top of his government salary in the previous year, taking his total earnings to almost half a million, according to a newspaper report.
The money pocketed by millionaire Conservative Hunt is twelve times more than the average nurse in the UK, the daily Mirror reported. “We’ve got a silent, invisible Health Secretary earning large sums as nurses are sacked and services are rationed”, said shadow Health Minister Jamie Reed, adding that the National Health Service (NHS) is in its biggest challenge in the history of the organization.'
