Turkey's Halkbank Raises TRY4.51 Billion in Secondary Public Offering

Turkey's state-run Turkiye Halk Bankasi AS (HALKB.IS), or Halkbank, has raised 4.51 billion Turkish lira ($2.5 billion) for its secondary public offering, brokerage Finans Yatirim Menkul Degerler AS, which ran the sale, said Monday.
In a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange, the brokerage said the secondary public offering was priced at TRY15.10 per share.
The brokerage said a 20.8% stake of Halkbank, or 299 million of the lender's shares, have been sold to 30,272 investors.
In May 2007, 24.98% of Halkbank's shares were sold through an initial public offering and the shares were listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
