Alvechurch Bugle – TARZAN edition

If one were tempted to assume that Brussels would take its foot off the pedal, to concentrate on solving the euro crisis - don’t be.
Bugle has been a reader of the Birmingham Post since way back when, and has watched it evolve into the most pro- EU provincial journal in the UK, while its praise for quangos, is a clear pointer to a major source of its income, the E.R.D.F.  European Regional Development Fund. This is the one where we pay in £ 3.55, for every pound they give us back, on their terms, and europhiles think it’s a good deal ! .
The current issue, carries a story that has been building for some weeks, on the role of its pet organisation : The Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership.

Many readers will know,  L.E.P.s. are the renamed, sanitised successors to EU funded, Regional Development Agencies, that had the Fifth Columnist agenda of regionalising English local government, without too many local politicians realising what was going on. Well funding is still from the E.R.D.F.  but the name has been changed, to throw snoopers off the scent.
However, the whole thing takes on an infinitely more sinister dimension, with arch euro federalist Lord Heseltine deciding to take this particular L.E.P. under his malevolent wing.
Seems Tarzan has acquired a brief, which puts him in charge of “ Regional regeneration “ ,  a perfect cover for his EU promotional activities,  and for gaining phoney credibility by promising to channel funding to L.E.P.s  plus supposedly devolving power to the public and private sectors in the regions.   What a nice man !.

No,  simply the most fanatical remnant of Heath’s clique, that sold Britain off,  to the emerging conspiracy that is today called the EU.

The Birmingham Post article would indicate that he has conned the entire L.E.P.   the Chamber of Commerce, and the ( seriously overborrowed ) Birmingham City Council, who in their desperation are prepared to believe he is the new Messiah.

The L.E.P. is chaired by former M.D. of John Lewis, Andy Street,  no doubt clued up on retailing, but doesn’t know his arse from his elbow about our illegal involvement with fraudulent Brussels.

When these three organisations look around them, in twelve months time, and directives are coming straight from the EU Commission, only then will they realise he’s had the pants off them.
