Netanyahu backs down, invites Lapid to join gov’t

Just as I suggested yesterday, Netanyahu had no choice but to prefer Lapid to Shas. In the probable government, Livni, Lapid and Mafaz (27 seats) want negotiations with the PA and so does Bibi. But Bibi has set up a committee that will oversee talks headed by him. It will include Livni, the Minister of Defense, probably Yaalon, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Ted Belman
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu changed his approach to coalition talks 180 degrees on Sunday night and unexpectedly invited Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid party to join the government he is forming.
Lapid complained last week that his party was not being invited to coalition talks.
Netanyahu had not spoken out in favor of Yesh Atid joining the coalition since he met with Lapid shortly after the January 22 election.

Kahlili: Iranian Regime Concerned about Radiation Leak from Fordow Blast

The Iranian regime persists in a cover up of the Fordow blast, while panicked about radiation leaks that may spread to major cities.  New details have emerged identifying the names of Iranian and North Korean scientists among the more than 76 killed of the 219 trapped underground when the blast allegedly occurred at   enrichment facility near Qom on January 21st.   Moreover, new information indicates that the IAEA had not visited the Facility since early December 2012, giving rise to doubts about statements by their official spokesperson in late January which were used by Iran as part of the continuing cover-up.  The issue is will these latest revelations  penetrate the discussions between Iran and the P5+1 delegates at another meeting with Islamic regime negotiators in Kazakhstan on Tuesday, February 26th(Read more…)

Why should anyone boycott Ahava products when Palis in Jericho are selling them

REPORT FROM JERICHO-
While the international pro-Palestinian boycott movement has been actively promoting a boycott of Ahava skin care products for the last couple of years, in Jericho, under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority, Palestinians are not only not boycotting the Ahava products, they are vigourously promoting sales of such products.
In Canada, in the fall of 2011 the boycott movement tried to convince Hudson’s Bay in Toronto to take the products off the shelf and took credit for the fact that Ahava products disappeared from the shelves for a while. ( by June 2012, the products were back at the Bay and the Bay claimed that the line was taken down as it was in the process of being rebranded, not due to the boycott). If the boycott movement tries such antics again against Ahava products, they should be asked why it is that a Canadian company ought not carry the products, when the Palestinians themselves in Jericho are selling them?
When I was in Jericho two weeks ago, the first thing that my Palestinian driver Faisal, wanted to show me in Jericho was the store selling “Ahava products.” He was going to take me to see the old city of Jericho, and stopped just outside the entrance way where there is a large store called “Ahava Temptation” in English (see photo). The store was filled to the brim with Ahava products with prices that are all marked in American dollars for tourists to buy. Virtually every tour bus that comes to Jericho is directed into that store, to buy Ahava and other products at prices that are not cheap at all. So, in other words, if the Palestinians are buying Ahava products and making money off them, why should Canadians boycott Ahava? (Read more…)

Rabbi seeks Israeli religious revolution

Tzohar leader Rabbi David Stav waging highly visible public campaign to change Chief Rabbinate from the inside. Balance of power following election results may soon tip in his favor
When Rabbi David Stav launched his official campaign last month to wrest control of Israel‘s top religious institution from its longtime hardline leadership, it was a long shot.
But just two weeks later, Israelis went to the polls and surprisingly shifted the country toward the center of the political spectrum – creating a rare window of opportunity for the modern Orthodox rabbi to capture the title of chief rabbi and fulfill his pledge to revolutionize the contentious role that religion plays in the Jewish state.

Arutz Sheva Op-ed on Hagel Picked Up By Breitbart

Breitbart reports on op-ed which exposed that Hagel called for U.S. troops to patrol the future borders between Israel and ‘Palestine’.
Remember that Samantha Power also recommended the same thing and Obama put her in his National Security Council. Ted Belman

An op-ed by longtime Arutz Sheva contributor Mark Langfan has been picked up by Breitbart News.
Langfan’s op-ed, which was posted toArutz Sheva on Saturday, exposed that former Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE), President Barack Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, co-authored a 2009 report that called for U.S. troops to lead a peacekeeping force that would patrol the future borders between Israel and a Palestinian state.
The report also suggested that peace could be imposed from outside by the U.S., describing arguments to the contrary as “invalid.” Breitbart published an article on the report Sunday, noting that it was previously referenced in Arutz Sheva(Read more…)

Op-Ed: Jews, Hold on to Your Guns!

A few days ago, David Mamet, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, published a column for Newsweek defending gun ownership and calling President Obama’s weapons control proposals “Marxist”.
The column has a very Jewish title: “Gun laws and the Fools of Chelm”. It also indirectly explains why Israel is also known as “the pistol nation”.
For visitors, it’s the most enduring impression in Israel: guns are omnipresent, tucked inside belts, slung over soldiers’ backs, clutched chest-high at checkpoints. From cafes in Tel Aviv to “settlements” in Judea and Samaria, Jews carry guns. Guns are plentiful in the street, carried by “settlers”, soldiers, and security personnel, including the mandated guards in front of schools, restaurants and malls.

Bennett-Lapid Axis: Genius Tactic or Gross Irresponsibility?

Analysis: pact between the parties could be a brilliant move heralding a Zionist revolution – or a colossal blunder.
By Gil Ronen, INN
The big story currently driving the political system in Israel to distraction is the completely unexpected and unprecedented post-election pact between Bayit Yehudi, under MK Naftali Bennett, and Yesh Atid, under MK Yair Lapid. The heads of the two parties have agreed between them that neither will enter the coalition without the other. The chances that Labor (15 seats), which is extremely leftist on economic matters and suspiciously coy about diplomatic and security matters, will join Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, are extremely slim.
Given the election results, therefore, Netanyahu (with 31 seats) cannot establish a coalition if both Yesh Atid (19 seats) and Bayit Yehudi (12 seats) refuse to join it.

Jack Chick exposes inconsistencies and contradictions in the Koran

by Bill Levinson
We will say up front that we do not share Jack Chick’s theology (only his kind of Christians are going to Heaven while everybody else, including the wrong kinds of Christians as well as Jews and Hindus, are going to the other place), but he definitely has his uses. He has apparently read the Koran in detail, and pointed out inconsistencies as well as statements that Allah is inconsistent–which is hardly consistent with a divine entity. Chick points out, for example,
“Sura 2.106 Whatever communications We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?” They worship a God who can’t make up his mind?

Radio Islam hosts Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and The International Jew

Posted by Bill Levinson
This is how militant “Muslims,” aka musloids, promote tolerance of other religions.
http://www.radioislam.org/islam/english/index_protocols.htm
The page adds, “The International Jew – the whole book in PDF By Henry Ford.” The truth is that The International Jew is simply a variation of the Protocols, that Tsarist propagandist Boris Brasol gave to Ford, and that Ford re-published without exercising due diligence. The musloids at radioislam.org, however, know exactly what they are doing. (Read more…)
