US Says Richard Falk is ‘Unfit to Serve’
ANTI-DEFAMATION LEAGUE WELCOMES U.S. CONDEMNATION
GENEVA, June 9, 2013 – America’s envoy to the UN Human Rights Council, Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe, has demanded the resignation of one of its top officials, saying Richard Falk’s attempt to investigate and potentially shut down a UN-accredited NGO could “threaten the independent voice of civil society at the United Nations.”
The strongly-worded U.S. statement, published on the website of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, “rejects and condemns” the scathing and unprecedented attack against UN Watch by Richard Falk, a top UN official according to the world body. The U.S.-based Anti-Defamation League welcomed the U.S. statement and expressed support for UN Watch.

How Israeli Intelligence Is Updating Its Knowledge of Syria’s Missile Arsenal

Israeli officials are closely watching the conflict in Syria to improve their understanding and intelligence capabilities of Syria’s long range missiles, according to statements made during a public conference titled “Aerial threats in the Modern era” and held Monday at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) at Tel Aviv.
Uzi Rubin, the former head of the Israel Missile Defense Authority (IMDA) at the Ministry of Defense, and Colonel Aviram Hasson, who is in active duty as the head of systems at IMDA, discussed the monitoring during their presentation at the conference.
They said that until the recent war broke out, the Bashar al-Assad regime had adopted a completely different approach from its Iranian ally. Iran regularly stages military parades and airs television footage to highlight its missile capabilities. The regime uses the spectacles to boost the morale of its citizens, to project the image of a superpower, and to deter opponents.

US National Insecurity

Doug Hagmann, the author of DHS insider: Its about to get Ugly, which I posted earlier today, spoke at a conference on National Insecurity and expanded on his article according to the report by Marijane Green, CFP . Doug Hagmann tells seminar three major crisis events are imminent
Doug described three major crisis events about to take place and said they are in no particular order.

    I. Killing off the United Sates dollar
The killing off of the United Sates dollar. Doug said this was an active maneuver.
People in power have been actually killing our economy since 1913, the year of the Federal Reserve. It’s an end game we’re watching, he said. A Cyprus type situation could be expected soon in the U.S., he added.

Four billion dollars to the Palestinian Authority? Not from Arabs!

Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger, “Second Thought: a US-Israel Initiative”
“Israel Hayom”, June 9, 2013, http://bit.ly/110EOvF
Secretary of State John Kerry’s contention that a $4BN grant would revitalize the Palestinian Authority (PA), and the peace process, ignores the Palestinian track record, at least, since the 1993 Oslo Accords.
Kerry overlooks the impact of the $400MN in annual US aid which has fueled an all-time-high Palestiniancorruption (Mahoud Abbas’ nickname is “Mr. 20%), hate education, terrorism, anti-US incitement, oppression, in general, and discrimination against Christians, in particular, and the Palestinian affinity toward America’s enemies and adversaries: Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Russia, China, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba and Iran. The PA follows in the footsteps of previous Palestinian leaders who sided with the Nazis, the Communist Bloc and Khomeini. (Read more…)

DHS insider: It’s about to get very ugly

This is about the Marxist takeover of America.
Washington, D.C.
While I was in the middle of a perfectly good and well needed sleep in the very early hours of this morning, I received a message. I cannot disclose how I received this message, at least not now. The discerning reader will understand why, which, by the way, would make a very interesting story alone. The message was extremely clear and precise. I was to meet my high level DHS insider at a very specific location in Washington, DC, at a time when most ‘normal’ people, except third-shift workers are still asleep. And, I was to come alone and make certain that I was not being followed, and I was to leave any cell phone or electronic device behind.
Seriously? I thought, as I was still trying to make sense of it all. Is all this really necessary? Is this really happening? I considered waking my son to accompany me, but opted to follow the instructions to the letter. Besides, I thought, he’s not the most affable middle-of-the-night person. I left a hastily written but detailed note in my hotel room before my departure in the event something happened. I looked at the digital clock on my rental car (my personal car would never survive our long distance trip). It was 3:20 a.m.

Meet the ‘Friends of Jihad’

Western politicos love to shed swamps of crocodile tears about “the Syrian people” and congratulate themselves within the “Friends of Syria” framework for defending them from “tyranny”.
Well, the “Syrian people” have spoken. Roughly 70% support the government of Bashar al-Assad. Another 20% are neutral. And only 10% are aligned with the Western-supported “rebels”, including those of the kidnapping, lung-eating, beheading jihadi kind.
The data was provided mostly by independent relief organizations working in Syria. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) received a detailed report in late May – but, predictably, was not too keen on releasing it.

Tens of Thousands Hit Turkey’s Streets as Protests Continue

Tens of thousands of demonstrators packed the streets of Turkish cities on Saturday, challenging Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s call to end their civil uprising with a chorus of angry chants and a shower of red flares, AFP reported.
The government said the protests were “under control” even as the largest crowds yet packed every inch of Istanbul’s Taksim Square, the epicenter of nine days of nationwide unrest.
As the sun set over Taksim, fans from rival soccer teams Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray united in the square. They set off red flares to loud cheers from the crowd, according to AFP.

In the ME, kill or be killed

Dershowitz still believes that “Israel should make every reasonable effort to make peace with the Palestinians”. But for him, it is reasonable for Israel to accept ’67 borders plus swaps. Ted Belman
Analysis: Syria crisis shows why Israel must remain strong
Fareed Zakaria explained why neither side in the Syrian conflict is likely to surrender: “People fight to the end because they know that losers in such wars get killed or ‘ethnically cleansed.’” In this kind of war the worlds “ethnically cleansed” do not mean displaced or made refugees. They mean, as Zakaria further explained, massacred: “Then you have phase 2, which is the massacre of the Alawites, the 14 percent of Syria that has ruled and that will be a bloodbath.”
Nor will the massacres and bloodbaths be limited to combatants, or even civilian officials, if the past is any indication.
