Columnist On Hamas-Affiliated Website Calls To Ban Palestinians From Participating In Activities Related To Holocaust

On May 23, 2013, the Hamas-affiliated website Filastin (felesteen.ps) posted an article by one of its regular columnists, Dr. 'Issam Shawer, who misrepresented a statement by Israeli MP Moshe Feiglin in order to allege that the "Zionist claim" of six million Holocaust victims is fraudulent. Shawer also called to ban Palestinians from "participating in activities that support the false Zionist account of the Holocaust."
The following are excerpts from his article:

"Moshe Feiglin, an extremist Jew and a secretary [sic] of the Israeli Knesset, demanded to establish that President Yasser Arafat had been responsible for the murder of more Israeli citizens and Jews than Hitler. This statement, though extremist, [serves to] disprove the Jewish claim about the Holocaust and the extermination of six million Jews. According to Israeli sources, the number of [Israeli soldiers] who died in the wars between the Israeli occupation and the Arab countries does not exceed 30,000. If we assume, for the sake of the argument, that Arafat was responsible for all of these deaths, it proves that Hitler did not kill six million Jews or even hundreds of thousands. This is a fact we accept as true and which requires no proof. What does require rational proof is the claim that six million Jews were [indeed] murdered [in the Holocaust].

Fatah Central Committee Member Abbas Zaki: The Israelis Voted For Extremists, 'Must Pay The Price'

Following are excerpts from a public address delivered by Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki, which aired on Palestinian Authority TV on May 14, 2013:

Abbas Zaki: "Anybody who expects anything from the West is counting their chickens before they are hatched. Tony Blair, who is a descendant of Balfour, and who destroyed Iraq, should not be allowed to be in charge of any Palestinian issue. Yet he is currently the envoy for peace in the region. We should not expect any solution from Kerry and Obama, who are totally committed to the security of Israel.

"We say to the U.S.: You have many interests in the Middle East, and so do all the [countries] of the world. Do not let us go berserk. Do not make us lose hope, because if this happens, we will have plenty of options available. This decision is not up to the leadership, but will be made by our great people."
