French farmers and riot police clash in Paris protest

'French farmers have clashed with riot police during a protest in Paris against the government’s plan to remove subsidies for the agricultural sector.
The clash occurred on Wednesday after dozens of angry protesters blocked the Alexandre III bridge over the Seine river. The farmers were demanding the resignation of French Agricultural Minister Stephane Le Foll for defending the plan, which they say would damage the country’s agricultural industry.'
