But … the Obama administration's support for the Muslim Brotherhood is backfiring. Anti-American sentiment is growing; nostalgia for Nasser and his regime's alliance with the Soviet Union is increasingly evident, as reported here, and as Foreign Confidential predicted on July 1.
A further prediction: Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, will soon visit Egypt, and he will be met by huge, welcoming crowds.
