Thanks for this, Harold.

 I’m finding gathering interest from many in this coming event and a desire to understand.

Immediately below is Bill Koenig’s article.  I think you know of him as a correspondent from the White House.  Heard him speak in Jerusalem in 2005 and he is a very sound man.  John Hagee of CUFI (Christians United For Israel) has also done a video series on this phenomenon as has Mark Biltz who is mentioned in your e-mail below.

Since HaShem’s ancient people didn’t have WH Smith selling wall calendars, He set the calendar in the heavens (mostly misunderstood and used for horoscope nonsense) so they knew when Rosh Kodesh would occur, plus all the days of observance.

We sure are living in interesting times especially in view of the imminent round of so-called peace talks, which incidentally they reckon will run for nine months.  That wouldn’t coincide with heavenly events by any chance, would it?

Be well, be blessed, Harold

Four 'blood-red' total lunar
eclipses will fall on Passover
and Sukkot in 2014 and 2015,
the same back-to-back occurrences
at the time of 1492, 1948 and 1967
by Bill Koenig
Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries in Puyallup, Washington click here has been sharing with us some remarkable discoveries on the blood-red moon and Jewish feast connections in the past three months. He now has some new discoveries.
I have known Mark for four years and have spoken at his church twice in the Tacoma, Washington, area. He has been an avid student and teacher of the Jewish Feasts and their awe-inspiring connections to the Lord's earthly events.
Mark said he had found my blood-red moon work interesting and began looking into possible connection to past and future Jewish Feasts at which time he found very significant connections.
I have provided blood-red moon information, and information on the coming total solar eclipses of 2008, 2009 and 2010—which all fall on the 1st of Av.
Seven back-to-back, blood-red moons have fallen on the first day of Passover and Sukkot, with the eighth time coming in 2014 and 2015
Mark found that we have had blood-red moons on the first day of Passover and the first day of Sukkot on back-to-back years seven times since 1 A.D. Three of these occurrences were connected to 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) — some of the most significant days in Jewish history.
The others were in 162/163 A.D., 795/796 A.D., 842/843 A.D. and 860/861 A.D. We don’t have any historical connections for these years at this time, but we do know of significant Jewish persecution during the eighth and ninth centuries.
In all eight examples, the eclipses have fallen or will fall on the first day of Passover and Sukkot.
The eighth occurrence of back-to-back, blood-red moons will be in 2014–2015.
So what does the period of time from 2013 to 2015 portend for Israel and the world?
We will closely watch the peace efforts in Israel in 2008 to see if a peace deal is signed — knowing that 2015 would be seven years later. I am not date-setting, and I certainly won’t speculate, but the lineup of occurrences is very intriguing.
Solar eclipses of 2008, 2009 and 2010 — and their connection to the month of Av
Additionally, Mark has discovered through NASA that there will be three annual solar eclipses on the 1st of Av, beginning this year and running through 2010. We know that the month of Av — and especially the 9th of Av — has been the most trying period throughout history for the Jewish people.
Total solar eclipses have been a bad omen for the nations, while blood-red moons have been a bad omen for the Jewish people and Israel.

* The sabbatical year in the seven-year cycle begins on Rosh Hashanah on Sept. 25, 2014, and ends on Rosh Hashanah on September 13-14, 2015 — the day of a partial solar eclipse
2000-year history of blood-red moons' connection to Passover and Sukkot
Mark says that during this century, the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincide with God's holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn's Feast of Tabernacles (also called Sukkoth) occur in 2014 and 2015 on today's Gregorian calendar.
He noticed a pattern:
There were no astronomical back-to-back blood-red moon events in the 1800s, the 1700s or the 1600s. In the 1500s, there were six, but none of those fell on Passover and Sukkoth. The 2014/2015 events will be the last this century.
Total solar eclipses and the month of Av
On the first of Av in 2008, 2009 and 2010, there will be total solar eclipses.
NASA: Total solar eclipses occur on these dates:
* Aug. 1, 2008 (1st of Av)
* July 22, 2009 (1st of Av)
* July 11, 2010 (1st of Av)
The 1st of Av falls on these dates in 2008, 2009 and 2010:
* Aug. 1, 2008 (5768)
* July 21, 2009 (5769)
* July 11, 2010 (5770)
NOTE: The first of Av begins at sundown and ends at sundown the following day.
The Month of Av Disaster and Consolation
by Rebbetzin Tzipporah Heller
The Month of Av Disaster and Consolation - click here.
By every measure the Jewish month of Av is tragically unique, one in which the worst disasters in our history took place.
The 15th of Av was a time of joy. In ancient times it was a day in which marriages were arranged and new beginnings celebrated. It was a time in which we began again, expressing not just who we don't want to be but who we can be.
Jewish history: Aaron died on 1st of Av (chabad.org)
Aaron died on the first day of Av (in the year 2447). He was 122 years old when he died, being three years older than Moses.
The entire people of Israel, both men and women, mourned the death of Aaron for 30 days. Everybody knew Aaron as a great lover of peace, who brought love and harmony among people and in many a home.
17 Tammuz to 9 Av — 21 days of mourning
The 21 days from 17 Tammuz to 9 Av, and the fast days of 17 Tammuz and 9 Av, are times of morning for the Jewish people.
The fast of the 17th of Tammuz, the day of the breaching of the walls of Jerusalem, marks the beginning of the "Three Weeks." The fast of the 9th of Av commemorates the day of the actual destruction by fire of the Holy Temple and is the last day of the Three Weeks. The Three Weeks is a period of mourning over these destructions.

Subject: The Four Blood Moon Tetrad Phenomena Under Examination

Britannia Radio

Tuesday, 30 July 2013

NOTICE: Kade Hawkins, director of Prophecy News Watch and who served on the Board of Chuck Missler's Koinonia House as Canadian Director for over 16 years, provides an official publication to critique the NASA phenomena due to occur in 2014-2015, known as the Blood Moon Tetrads.

The Four Blood Moon Tetrad Phenomena Under Examination
History is littered with the dead bones of prophecies and predictions that failed the test of time.In recent times it is likely you will have been aware of The Jupiter Effect, Michael Drosnin's Bible Code, the Quatrains of Nostradamus, Y2K and more recently the December 21st 2012 predictions.So what makes the four blood moons prophecy different to all that we have seen before? Is this another prophecy tragedy or could this celestial event be the most incredible sign of the times?

Signs in the Heavens
The significance of celestial, astronomical and heavenly events has been a key feature of world history from the time of Genesis. If we go to the book of Genesis we see a profound statement made by Moses in his account of the creation of the heavens by God Almighty. Why did God create the stars in the heavens in the first place? We read one significant answer in Genesis, the first chapter. Moses wrote:
“And God said, ‘Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years” Genesis 1:14
From a biblical perspective the use of the Sun and Moon as signs is evident. For instance in the book of Joshua chapter 10, the sun and the moon stood still for Joshua and his army over Gibeon, so they could have enough day time to complete the war.  In Genesis we see that a young Joseph had a dream that involved the sun, moon and stars which would become a symbolic prophecy of his rise to greatness.
Incredible heavenly phenomena have been witnessed throughout history and there would be too many to feature here. However the following provides a snapshot of strange events which immediately triggered an association with bible prophecies.
The 1780 Day of Darkness
On the 19th of May, 1780 many people thought that the day of the Lord had arrived when the sky became pitch black during the day. The darkness was not due to an eclipse since the moon was then nearly full. It was not caused by clouds, nor due to the thickness of the atmosphere, as in some localities where the darkness extended, the sky was so clear that the stars could be seen.
The extent of the darkness was also very remarkable. It was observed at the most eastern regions of New England; westward, to the farthest part of Connecticut, and southward at Albany, it was observed all along the sea coast; and to the north, as far as the American settlements extended. It probably far exceeded those boundaries, but the exact limits were never positively known. With regard to its duration, it continued in the neighborhood of Boston for at least fourteen or fifteen hours."
Timothy Dwight says, "The 19th of May, 1780, was a remarkable dark day. Candles were lighted in many houses; the birds were silent and disappeared, and the fowls retired to roost. ... A very general opinion prevailed, that the day of judgment was at hand." Quoted in Connecticut Historical Collections, compiled by John Warner Barber (2nd ed.; New Haven: Durrie & Peck and J.W. Barber, 1836) p. 403.
The August 1999 Total Eclipse
On August 11th 1999, millions of people across Europe, Middle East and Africa witnessed a total solar eclipse. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partially obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. A total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon's apparent diameter is larger than the Sun, blocking all direct sunlight, turning day into darkness. Totality occurs in a narrow path across the surface of the Earth, while a partial solar eclipse will be visible over a region thousands of kilometers wide.
The path of the Moon's shadow began in the Atlantic Ocean and, before noon, was traversing Cornwall, Devon, northern France, Belgium, Luxembourg, southern Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, and northern FR Yugoslavia (Vojvodina). Its maximum was in Romania (next to a town called Ocnele Mari near Râmnicu Vâlcea); and it continued across Bulgaria, the Black Sea, Turkey, Iran, southern Pakistan and Srikakulam in India and ended in the Bay of Bengal.
Millions witnessed an eerie feeling as darkness descended, the air cooled down and the birds stopped singing. Because of the high density populated in the areas of the path, there is little doubt that this was the most-viewed total solar eclipse in human history.
The Jupiter Effect, Comets and Meteorites
Other heavenly signs that have caused significant discussion and debate also include the planetary alignment phenomena of 1982. The Jupiter Effect was a best-selling book by John Gribbin, Ph.D., and Stephen Plagemann (published. 1974) that predicted that this alignment of the planets of the solar system would create a number of catastrophes, including a great earthquake on the San Andreas Fault in Los Angeles, on March 10, 1982.
Many of you will also remember the Hale-Bopp Comet, one of the most publicized celestial bodies which in 1997 sparked a major tragedy in which 39 members of the Heaven's Gate, an American UFO religion doomsday cult based in San Diego California, committed mass suicide in order to reach what they believed was an alien space craft following the Comet Hale–Bopp, which was then at its brightest.
More recently on September 15, 2007, a meteorite impacted Earth near the village of Carancas, Peru, creating a 50-foot-wide crater. When local officials went to investigate, they saw boiling water bubbling at the bottom of the hole. Sickeningly foul-smelling, noxious gases rose out of it, striking the investigators ill on the spot. In the days after the impact, about 200 villagers came down with a mysterious illness, suffering nausea, headaches and vomiting. Later, tests of the impact site by scientists at Peru's Mining, Metallurgy, and Geology Institute showed that the locals had likely suffered mild arsenic poisoning.
In all three cases at the time parallels were drawn with bible prophecy and the book of Revelation in which John in his vision saw a number of global cataclysmic events which involved astral projects impacting the earth causing significant calamity.
The Prophecy of the Blood Moon Tetrads

When major astronomical and heavenly events take place it has been natural to turn to the Bible for validation since Jesus Christ himself said, referring to the days before His second coming:
“And there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven”.....“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars . . .” Luke 21: 11, 25.
However there are specific references that focus on the moon looking "blood red" in the lead up to the great and terrible Day of the Lord and it is for this reason that the prophecy of the Blood Moon Tetrads is causing a ripple across the bible community.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD” Joel 2:31

“I look when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood” Revelation.6:12
Blood Moons are when the moon appears red due to lunar eclipses. They occur when the earth is positioned between the sun and the moon (see top part of image below). The Earth's shadow blocks the sun’s light, which would normally reflect off the moon. The delicate layer of dusty air surrounding our planet reddens and redirects the light of the sun, filling the dark behind the Earth with a sunset-red glow. This is in contrast to a solar eclipse where the moon is positioned between the earth and the sun causing darkness (see bottom part of image below).
.
Blood Moon lunar eclipses have happened continuously throughout history, but a Blood Moon Tetrad is when 4 consecutive total lunar eclipses occur on a Jewish Holy Feast day. There have only been 7 Blood Moon Tetrads between Jesus Christ's first coming and 2013, and every time they happened it has been proven that there was some significant event which impacted upon the Jewish people within a year of the first or last eclipse of the tetrad.
The only time during this century (2000 AD - 3000 AD) that a Blood Moon Tetrad will take place is the year 2014-2015. A growing group of researchers believe something significant is going to happen in 2014 and 2015 which will involve Israel and the world. This has set off a chain reaction of debate and discussion about this event.
Signs of the Blood Moons
Signs of the Blood Moons is a four part report created by Kade Hawkins, director of Prophecy News Watch. Kade is one of the most prolific providers of critical bible prophecy news and as such has developed a reputation in the bible prophecy community that is trusted. Signs of the Blood Moons is one of the first publications on the subject to provide a full critique and examination of the Blood Moon prophecy and will provide significant input to the growing debate and discussion on this controversial subject.
See below for key insights.

1. SIGNS OF THE BLOOD MOONS: PROPHECY AND PATTERN

Does God have a plan which includes the earth and the human race? If so, can man know it? The answer is an emphatic, Yes! God does have a plan, and that plan is clearly outlined in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Man can know God’s plan clearly if only he will come to the Bible and submit his mind and heart to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. A very striking and strange condition exists at present, namely, the deliberate refusal on the part of religious and political leaders to consult carefully the prophetic Scriptures. True, there have been cranks, blind fanatics, hobby-riders and unwise date-setters posing as prophetic teachers, but all of these unscholarly obscurantists put together do not afford any man a legitimate excuse for not studying the divine plan as it is plainly set forth in the Bible. Before ever the Bible was given to man, God had a plan, and we must remember that it is to that foreordained plan that He is working.

Some would argue that by looking at the Blood Moon Prophecy subject matter we become susceptible to the same dangers of the 2012 hysteriaWhat 2 guiding principles are required to prevent a repeat of history?

. SIGNS OF THE BLOOD MOONS: THE FEASTS OF THE LORD

God's eternal plan -- from chaos to eternity -- is incredibly revealed through the nature and timing of the Seven annual Feasts of the LORD. It was on Mount Sinai that God gave Moses the dates and observances of the seven feasts. When do they happen? God's calendar is based on the phases of the moon. Each month in a lunar calendar begins with a new moon. Pesach falls on the first full moon of Spring. The first three feasts, Pesach, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits fall in March and April. The fourth one, Shavu'ot, marked the summer harvest and occurs in late May or early June. The last three feasts, Trumpets, Yom Kippur and Sukkot happen in September and October. Understanding the Feasts of the Lord is singularly one of the most critical components of bible prophecy.

. SIGNS OF THE BLOOD MOONS: THE COMING FOUR BLOOD MOONS

The Bible foretold of signs in the celestial bodies that would be of prophetic significance. One of these signs was the moon turning into blood. NASA has claimed that there will be four blood moons to come, with a solar eclipse occurring in the middle, between 2014 and 2015. Could an occurrence like this be tied to a great prophetic fulfilment. Many have taken these predictions by NASA and crossed them with the prophecies of the Bible and believe that the coming four blood moons are a sign of judgment to the world and Israel foreshadowing a devastating war prophesied by the prophet Ezekiel. Can this be true?

. SIGNS OF THE BLOOD MOONS: BLOOD MOON SCENARIOS

The rabbis teach that blood moons, "lunar eclipses" are a sign used by God for the judgment of the nation of Israel. They also teach that solar eclipses are a sign for the judgments of the nations of the world. Historically there is evidence that such occurrences always see to take place at a time where there are world impacting events. The next combination of lunar (4) and solar eclipses (2) to fall on the appointed feast days will occur in a time period that covers 2014 and 2015. If there is to be major earth changing events that impact both Israel and the wider world then what could they be?

Why This Report Today?
Not only will there be 4 lunar eclipses during the years 2014-2015 but there will also be 2 solar eclipses sandwiched in between which creates even more astonishment and uniqueness about this period of time. Is something stirring in the heavenlies?
The response from the Bible Prophecy community on this subject has been varied for a number of reasons but probably more so that many are still waiting for the negative after effects of the failed December 21st 2012 doomsday to blow over. Many reputable authors whilst offering initial restraint eventually got swept up in the 2012 fever only to be embarrassed by the after effects. For some, the introduction of another cosmic event that ties into specific dates has been one bridge too far to cross this time around.
However, there are just too many important questions about this biblical pattern and it's past historical record. Questions that are are only going to increase as the day draws near. It's time some of those questions received a closer look.
Questions such as:
Should the Bible and cosmology be so closely associated?
Is the Blood Moon Tetrad theory another example of attempts to read into the scriptures more than should be read?
What are the Feasts of the Lord and why is something which is part of the Mosaic law still relevant even during this dispensation of grace?
Is the association of Blood Moon Tetrad dates with significant historical events involving Israel pure coincidence?
Will the day of the Lord or the Great Tribulation begin in 2014-2015?
Will an Islamic Holy Jihad be triggered against the state of Israel during 2014-2015?
Is there any significance to the destruction of Damascus in Syria during this time period?
