As might have been expected, the awful Swedish leftist Home Affairs Commissar, Cecilia Malmstrom, is the nutter in the woodpile. - Arrogant Commissar Malmstrom - She said Malta, which has refused to allow the tanker to enter its waters, would be acting "contrary to international law" if it sent it back to Libya. ========= It turns out a rogue mariner, captain of a Liberian-flagged vessel, picked up 102 illegals off the coast of Libya after being requested to do so by the Italian authorities. Apparently he was ordered to take them to the nearest port of call, which was Libya. ====== ========================= But the insubordinate swine took it upon himself to advance on Malta, despite clear instructions from the authorities there that, since his crimmigrant cargo was in no danger, he'd not get permission to dump them on the long-suffering Maltese tax-payers. ========= So it should have been Libya, or maybe Italy, or better still back to Africa, to the querulous captain's registered country, Liberia! But oh, no, that matters not a whit to Malmstrom, who issued her diktat, that it had to be a "humanitarian duty of the Maltese authorities to allow these persons to disembark." Arrogant bint! And listen to her total disregard for the real issues involved. "Any dispute about the responsible search and rescue authority, as well as the right place of disembarkation does not help the persons in immediate need. These issues should be clarified at a later stage," she added. = In other words, she herself shows blatant indifference to the rules, international or national or common-sense. All she and her cultural marxist comrades in the EUSSR want to see is the long-suffering indigenous peoples of Europe lumbered with more and more undesirables! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! - - EUOBserver points out that, as Maltese PM Joseph Muscat said recently, Malta was taking a number of migrants equivalent to a million going to Germany. -------------- Too many.
