Why can't Weiner and Spitzer stop? What drives do they have that are causing them to destroy everything they have worked for?
Dovber HaLevi, author of the book, "Sex, Religion, and the Middle East: Your Personal Guide to Something Better" joins Tamar, and talks about an article he wrote entitled, Explicit Cost: Why Weiner and Spitzer Can’t Stop. HaLevi states, "Chemicals that the body creates (before and during an intimate act) are as addictive as anything in this world. Whether it be nicotine, whether it be drugs or alcohol." On this show, HaLevi explains how to channel sexual energy towards a proper path. One needn't be celibate, rather, one should focus their energy and thoughts on their spouse, to create a very deep loving and holy bond between them. Dovber Halevi says he's been there before. As a young single man, he lived a promiscuous life. He knew it was the wrong thing to do, but he couldn't stop himself. Find out what happened to him within a year's time, that changed everything, and led him to a happy, fulfilling, and faithful married life. HaLevi says that Weiner and Spitzer have an uphill battle in front of them, but that they can win it, IF they have the right tools, and right intentions. An interesting interview.
