Iran's claim to have tested a new naval missile capable of striking targets 200 miles away is the latest in a series of similar boasts, dating back over two years. The Islamist regime is obsessed with "secret weapons." It has allocated significant sums to arms inventions and improvements, focusing, especially, on radar-avoiding materials and designs.
While much of the effort has come to nought, it must be assumed that the Iranian military--particularly the terrorist Revolutionary Guard, which controls the regime's arsenal of ballistic missiles--has a few surprises up its sleeve. Iran's main target is the Strait of Hormuz, through which some 40% of the world's oil passes. The mullahocracy will spare no effort to close this strategic choke point when and if war breaks out with the United States or Israel over Iran's nuclear program.
Iran also intends to bombard Israel and US bases in the region with missiles, while unleashing waves of terrorist attacks against Americans, Israelis and overseas Jewish communities.
Not since Nazi Germany has the world faced a threat like Islamist--imperialist--Iran.
