NEWNATIONS BULLETIN 1ST MARCH 2011

PEOPLE POWER SURGES

Our regular Arab states, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, are now joined by Egypt, all having distinctly different situations in addition of course to Iran & Afghanistan. They are all caught up in the surging protest that originated in North Africa. Reports from all of them, in this issue. There is also violence in Albania and stasis in Bosnia.
Libya currently unresolved, the day to day situation hard to monitor, might even be finished as a single nation - in the event neither side can evict the other it might even revert de facto to the former Tripolitania and Cyrenaica.
We predict that what has happened and spread like wildfire: people protest against injustice, greed, and intolerable dictatorship, may now come in due course to some, perhaps as many as five, of the formerly communist republics where after the demise of the USSR, many of the same conditions apply. We give our analysis of this possibility.
We also offer the latest reports on Russia, Bosnia, Albania, North Korea; Turkey; India; Ukraine, Philippines, Taiwan and more.
