Tesco Protest Injures Several in Britain

'Several British people, including police and protesters, have been injured in violent clashes during a protest to stop inauguration of a new Tesco store in Bristol.

The clashes erupted at about 1am Friday after officers moved in to “contain a group of mask-wearing protesters” who were throwing bottle, Avon and Somerset police said in a statement. The protest against a new Tesco Express outlet in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol erupted into rioting as police clashed with several hundred demonstrators.'
