European Court demands answers from Government

Recent rulings against Christians have prompted the European Court of Human Rights to order the Government to make a formal statement on whether they believe that the rights of Christians are being infringed.

Currently, four Christian cases are being taken to Europe. These include two Christian Legal Centre cases, involving Shirley Chaplin, a nurse who was banned from working on wards for wearing a cross, and Gary McFarlane, a counsellor who was sacked by his employer for saying that he would not give sex therapy to homosexual couples.

Andrea Minichiello Williams, CEO of the Christian Legal Centre, said: "We cannot contemplate losing these cases. Please support us. This is how, by God's grace, we are going to put things right."
