Sunday, 27 November 2011 06:37 'A secondary school in Norway has segregated students with ethnic backgrounds away from white Norwegians, sparking a dispute in the European country. The decision was made in Oslo's Bjerke Upper Secondary School, which filled one of the three general studies sets solely with pupils with immigrant parents, the British daily Telegraph reported. Gro Flaten, the school's headmistress, said the measure was taken because many Norwegian students were moving to other schools because they were in classes with such a high percentage of students from other nations. Oslo Education Commissioner Torge Odegaard described the segregation as "totally unacceptable."'
